So the Sapir-Worph Hypothesis is bunk? That's a shame.
Are you sure that it's a bad thing that people can't have their ideas and thoughts shaped by the language they speak?

I am starting to think I should just start up a "Get to the point O-Meter" for essays I read.
Way too many essays are rated based on length rather than substance. I could explain what a rabbit is reasonably well in three paragraphs, but given a four-page minimum length, the art of bullshittery suddenly becomes invaluable. Teachers don't seem to want their students to learn efficient communication.
What really is a "rabbit"? Some people would call it a lagomorph, and append it such descriptors as "eats carrots" and "lives in forests and fields", but a rabbit is really much more complicated than that. Rabbits are far more than mere lagomorphs, and their diets and habitats are far more diverse than fields and forests. Many common misconceptions about rabbits are found everywhere in our lives, and it is important for us to dispel them.

The word "rabbit" dates back to...

Juan and his friend Carlos are visiting the house of Carlos's business partner named Jack O'Gramme, who is a famous manufacturer of metric-system measuring equipment. Carlos is conducting a meeting in the parlor and Juan is leaning against the wall outside. Suddenly, Juan hears a loud "thump" from inside the parlor, followed by the shattering of glass.

Rushing into the room, Juan sees Carlos lying on the floor, a set of weights near his head. A window is horrendously shattered, and Jack is nowhere to be seen. Juan rushes over to Carlos to see if he's alive. It's a gruesome sight; a heavy-looking black cylinder marked "1kg" is covered in blood, and Carlos's head is visibly dented.

Juan says, "Carlos! Carlos, are you OK?!"

Carlos, miraculously having a bit of life left in him, responds, very groggily, "Carlos... the deal went bad... he got me good..."

A moment passes. "I don't have much... time left... I need you to do one thing for me... after I'm gone..."

Juan, on the verge of tears, says "Wh... what is it, Carlos?"

Carlos coughs a little, and says back,

I'd argue that to continue your dynasty, you must be willing to die nasty.

^True facts. Sometimes you've got a good heir and just gotta let yourself be assassinated for the betterment of the dynasty.
Depressed is arguably the most overpowered trait in the game, simply because it lets you choose when your character dies and your heir inherits. Arguably the best usage of it is to tyrannically organize the realm via title revocation and vassal retraction, then off yourself. Your heir ends up with a decently large opinion malus for three years due to the metaphorical bad taste the last ruler left in his vassals' mouths, but that fades pretty quickly and the net effect is a much more stable and neatly organized country.

i just discovered that theres a group of conspiracy theorists that thinks everthing is fake:
That rabbit hole goes pretty darn deep. I found someone claiming that momentum doesn't exist. Poe or real, I have no idea.
I think I'll just leave this here.

- Thanks, younger me!

- Yep! Chemistry for life!

- Nope.

- Nope, nope.

- I'm not sure what to tell you.

- The problem is now getting the games of the ground, heh.

- It's complicated... :c

- Haha, you and your idea that I'd look good in a mustache :P

- Ah, the days of my e-peen obsession...

- That joke makes no sense, younger me, but I think you realized that.

I anticlimactically caught Necrozma on the first turn with a Quick Ball.

On the plus side, I didn't have to suffer through watching my character battle an insanely-powerful legendary Pokémon while clad in garish, green-red-and-yellow riding gear.

Actually, you're supposed to provide links. Oftentimes, the humor comes from the context not being immediately apparent, then finding out the context of the strange statement.

Wait, I meant Morocco. Close enough :P

Thanks! The tutorial gave me the idea that it should be a piece of cake to take on Granada immediately.

Just got the game yesterday, started on it today. I'm trying to play as Castile in the 1444 start, but every time I declare war on Granada they call in their Ottoman Moroccan doomstack friends and wipe the floor with me. I've restarted a few times because I'm sure I've missed something stupidly fundamental.

Simply put, how do I beat the Granadans?

Pursuit ~ Cornered from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Basically all of the equivalent themes in the other games are just as good, if not better, but this is the classic one.

We Are Norse from the Crusader Kings 2 "Hymns of the Old Gods" expansion.

Engage the Enemy from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Bearer of Hope from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn. Plays in every defense mission of the game, including the dreaded Act III Chapter 13.
