Apparently likes Mawile?

Oh yeah, I forgot about the bonds thing. That was surprisingly ethical of them, considering all the microtransaction crap they pulled right before the RS3 transition :v

That community though, you are spot on about the 90% sweaty neckbeards thing. I distinctly remember hearing about how a few months back there was a pretty small gay pride event one of the developers wanted to throw in, where you'd visit a few spots around the world and when you finished you got a free rainbow-colored scarf. Before the event even started, the userbase threw a bloody fit over it; people were holding mock KKK rallies and shit in Falador and Varrock, spouting all kinds of terrible stuff.

General Discussion / Re: The Dream Thread
« on: October 17, 2017, 08:03:55 am »
I had a spectacularly strange dream last night in three segments. Most of it seems to have been brought on by the things I did while staying up way too late last night.

It began with a Dungeons & Dragons game played in a very small, cluttered room. We didn't have a specialized board, so we got out a board game board printed with something that bore a striking resemblance to Bosnia. It had no grid on which to situate miniatures, adding to the confusion. The game itself involved a siege on some kind of Serbian castle in which two Croatian men tried to sneak in by hiding themselves in a large black duffel bag.

A brief interlude then occurred. This was supposedly a scene in Everybody Loves Raymond, a show I have never watched but which I am told is awful. However, I'm pretty sure that, in real life, Raymond was not played by Sean Hayes. "Raymond" had a discussion with some guy about getting laid or something like that. A stark interruption told me that the original version of this episode introduced a stoner character who was unpopular with audiences, and I went on to view this original episode, in which some kind of stereotypical 70s hippie woman came in and shouted something along the lines of "DUUUUUDE WEED LMAO", albeit much longer.

A rather startling transition then occurred. I was talking to an old friend of mine I met a few years ago, with whom contact has been rather sparse over the years. In the dream, they revealed to me that they intended to join the military, and they would be unable to contact me until they got out. They also told me in great detail that they met a guy I knew in high school, who had apparently practically greeted my friend by describing how he knew me back in high school. The entire time I was talking to my friend, I was sitting inside a large cardboard box, speaking to them through a hole cut in it. Toward the end of the dream, I threw the box off and went over to share a heartfelt hug, but I woke up before this happened.

I realized when I woke up that my friend not only is not the type of person to join the military at all, but has several very good reasons not to do so. I also realized that the guy I knew in high school never joined the military, and in fact often made fun of the people who were tunnel-visioned on joining the military after getting out of school.

I've gotta say, I'm kinda surprised you got a membership. I distinctly recall that you strongly advised me not to get one when a thread for OSRS was made a couple years back.

What are your thoughts on the Pathfinder Vigilante + archetypes?

Also, anything on Bay I can sign up for?
You might be just in time to sign up for a Pathfinder game I'm running--one of the players quit today. Whether it'll continue at all is kind of up in the air at the moment, but if it fails I a backup idea I've been wanting to try out.

(That steampunk game died, though. Sorry about that :v)

Oh no! Twenty-nine wild attack!
Bit late, but we haven't prepared images in ages, and I think it's time we tried out a new one.

I got about a sixth of the way into the seventh book and stopped. There was so much filler that I just wanted to cross my arms beneath my breasts and tug on my braid.

The battle with Jan Kasimir had been going fine and dandy until a winged hussar lanced me so hard I went comically flying twenty feet off my horse, proceeding to slide down the hill at highway speeds.

You need more land (or is it holdings? or dejure kingdoms? I don't remember) than is in the area it held.
Looking at that map, it looks like it contains Serbia, Croatia, and Bulgaria, and you only need 3 kingdoms held--not even necessarily de jure, just held--to create a custom empire. The real barrier to creation is the 8000 prestige and 1000 gold requirement.

The non-aggression pact issue is a travesty, though.

Oh boy, story time!

Years and years ago, way before I made an account, Pathos was a user on these forums. He was notorious for sockpuppeting (i.e., creating additional accounts for an immoral purpose, usually making yourself look better.) Purportedly, he was banned after holding an elaborate, multi-sided argument with himself via sockpuppet accounts. I think it had something to do with his girlfriend but I'm not sure. Pathos's accounts were dismantled and his account was unpersoned--that is, he doesn't even have a profile page anymore, though his posts are visible--but the joke is that everyone on the forum is Pathos's sockpuppets talking to each other.
