Search for escaped coherent thoughts. Offer them to Ddynamo.

"Nothing is impossible." So there must be something.

Keep searching.

But highlands make poor landing zone, and difficult to build early on. 18-C seems to be nice flatland surrounded by mountains with access trough mountains to south, and there you have 18-19 E-F thats open to the sea. I'd rather not have a hurricane...
20-21 D-G seems best place early on, flatlands to expand easily and surrounded by mountains for cover. 20-F?

General Discussion / Re: Events in Ukraine

I haven't paid as much attention to recent events in Ukraine as I should have so I know next to nothing about what's going on there, but anyone wanting to distance themselfs from over clingy Moscow has earned my support out of principle.

Mind you that was years ago, before I got familiar with situation in USA with the christian right. I couldn't even begin to start processing what he was saying, that it was intended as serious and not a parody. My brain just melted.

"You are completely ignoring the fact that you are being perceived as a sexual partner, and doing absolutely nothing within your power to change that perception. You are ignoring the fact that people have been educated to view you, personally, as a sexual partner. You are ignoring the treatment of both the symptoms and the disease at the same time by putting the blame completely on the man instead of the shitty system in which you happen to be a willing/unwilling cog." ~ Willfor, on why women should be required to wear burkas or else get raped.
Shame on you for stooping so low. Especially on this thread.

...bumper stickers...
Once again I'm happy that we don't have bumper sticker culture here. Or lot of people like that.

This talk about eden and not dying reminded me about old WTF I had when I came across youtube vid about some creation "scientist" (really, he had lab coat and all) telling how dinosaurs in eden didn't eat meat (or Adam or Eve) and that T-rex's teeth were for opening coconuts.

I have massive folder of reaction gifs (and cats) but I have nothing to fit for what I felt like.

Well, I never get Captchas. No idea what it is you guys did to earn them.
Do you by any chance keep Google+ logged in on the background? Or just don't visit sites that use them, like 4chan in that gif.

This just made my day.

Can you explain what that's showing? Because I am clueless.
What Miauw said. Google provides captcha's so they can track where you comment and how often via cookies, as well as how difficult your captcha will be to help deter spambots. They also regularily go through internet sites to keep their search index up to date and that includes content of comments.

No means no, Google, let people do what they want. Internet freedom and stuff. Rah rah fight the powah.
But Google is your friend, Mr Space Cat, Google wants to help you. Google would never do anything to intentionally inconvenience you. Google only wants to make your life easier. You can trust Google.

Still, everything will still probably die, quite likely at his hands, axe or beard (made of magma?), if we implement this plan.
So only question left is who will actually do the modding?

Over here (Finland) representatives of workers unions, employers unions and government get together and form (or try to form) collective labour agreement that covers all industries and other sectors of economy and defines the legal minimum standards for workers and employer responsibilities inside Finish borders. Usually they succeed. Which brings us to those Polish workers that fill all larger construction sites...

Wait by the edge of where we broke in. When our per sure comes through, stab him in the stomach.
+1. Remember to interrogate if he/she survives long enough.
