The elevator serving our Hong Kong office is called 'Schindler's Lifts'.

Quite possible the name predates the popcultural reference; Schindler's company is still up and running under his name.
I wouldn't consider the Holocaust pop culture, to be honest...
I think it was reference to the movie "Schindler's List". It would make more sense, stupid as it may be.

._.
I fail to see how that is amusing... :-\
Making fun of people who spend so much effort on showing off what they do on social media they fail to actually enjoy any of it.

That it doesn't. I was just  confirming my stalking was succesfull.

Some of these really are joke worthy;
"I'm gonna roll seduction to see which way the door swings."

Sure every bullet has someone's name on it but 20 kilos of ANFO is more 'To whom it may concern'
Is that from here?

Notice my curses, senpai!

I think that belongs in the "Thing that made you Moist today" thread.
Whatever rocks your boat...

On a completely different subject, this is pretty impressive.

Re: Alarm clock discussion: I found it!
I trawled my posts list til I found my method...

On the subject of alarm clocks: I worked out a sure-fire way to wake myself on time, back when I actually had a reason not to sleep in. Before this I was prone to sleeping through any and all alarm clocks, and had to rely on others to wake me up.

The solution was simple, I simply used the (rather outdated) nokia phone I had at the time, turned the vibrate on and picking some incredibly loud, annoying ringtone, and then dropped it in my undies as I went to sleep. Now that should wake you up! :o
I've actually seen some... *ahem* underwear, design to do that.

Drunk customers who puke/piss/shit before they make it to the bathroom are the worst, especially if they do it in someplace public. Where people watch and take pictures of you cleaning it.
There are several good reasons why I don't do concerts and festivals anymore and that's one of them.

See, most people find this amusing, but all I can do is feel sorry for the cat because of its face in the fourth panel.

Stupid emotions. The cat's not even real!
Any reasonable person would feel bad for that cat. Poor kitty...

Dummy accounts might be a good idea, actually. Make a few on sites you care about, never use them for anything, and if questioned explain that you just lurk (using terminology they'll understand, of course). You'll probably get yelled at for being "unsocial" or something absurd like that but knowing them they'd find something to yell at you about in literally any context. At least they won't have anything true to get pissy about.
This is actually a good idea, if browser is set to not save/clear cookies and other private info (like accounts and passwords). It doesn't help much if she sees all accounts you have when she clicks on the username field...

What about St-Petersburg?

St. Petersburg, aka Cultural Capital of Russia. As well as Moscow residents, they are not just your average russians. They are arrogant vampires sucking the blood of the whole country as well.

All of the above is nothing but a joke.
As someone who has to deal with russian turists every year, I can confirm that is not a joke.

So, it was an attack of a nationalist, right-wing nut against his political opponents, and him being the aforementioned nationalist, right-wing nut WAS stated and emphasized, as far as I've seen.
This is what I've got from the news as well, that his attack was aimed more towards immigration and tolerance policies that are mainstream politics today in Norway and EU.

I keep having weird food cravings.
Normally, I don't really like pickles, but for the past week or so, I keep craving them.
And now I'm craving anchovies, of all things.
Strange.
What? I didn't get you pregnant.

I agree with MZ, let's hear more Truean brand storytelling.
Much agree, very yes. I didn't think it was possible, but my impression of Truean got even better than before. Mad science with chance of explosions, jury-rigged machines you built in garage, fueled by something so insanely common you don't even think of it as fuel...
