Just looked at my wording. That was worded way wrong. I was the one to mention hard to follow. But y'all are still nitpicking as far as I'm concerned.

Quote from: definition directly from op
WIFOM - Wine In Front Of Me, the circular reasoning that results from trying to determine the choices of an opponent who acted with full knowledge that his behavior would be subject to scrutiny.

Where is this "hard to follow" shit coming from? WIFOM includes circular reasoning such as EP claiming that I claimed cop because I'm useless as a Mafioso. This reasoning seems more like muddying the water than my claiming WIFOM on something that goes along with the definition.

Pfp from in class. Will hopefully have more time to explain later.

Ah shit. Clearly I belong in a newb spot. I meant WIFOM. Specifically, your hard to follow logic.

*facepalm*

Also pfp.

I notice you also didn't vote for EP when you made your claim, which doesn't really make a lot of sense. This is all very strange...

Or I'm just very tired, so everything is weird.

I was sorta pressed for time and I'm pretty sure I've been playing way too much Town of Salem. That's something I would do in Salem. I dunno.

Well. Didn't expect this.

Hector:
Also, an explanation of why you wait until 3 days into LYLO to reveal.

The day started on Saturday, yes? My weekends are hella busy because I'm a full time college student (with finals next week) with a job. Thus I did not post, or even get on the forums, during the weekend. I also didn't take the time to notice the absence of any email notifications because I was so busy.

On Monday, I finally checked my email and felt like a friggin idiot for forgetting to investigate. It was then I decided that the best course of action was to claim and have EP lynched. Killing scum would buy us more time to find the other one because we can't afford a town lynch.

Let us dissect this lovely little BS you've presented.

Doomchild:
I'm waiting for Silthuri's response on this, but I'm having a hard time imagining what series of events would have kept him from pushing on EP during D2, or outright claiming earlier.

As I think I've said before, I was trying to buy time. I held in my results because I had hoped to do more for town. Clearly I suck at my job and I'm just screwing town. A claim on D2 is a sure way to die. The only reason I claimed was my mistake in assuming there was a doctor. Clearly I am mistaken.

Who would you say is the person most requiring of pressure, then?  At the moment, I'm thinking it's Silthuri, with the extremely convenient LYLO cop claim.

LYLO is the time when we absolutely CANNOT afford to lynch town. I saw no reason to not claim. I didn't expect to catch all this fire, but so be it. It's convenient because it made sense to me.

Alright, everyone. We're at lylo.

I'm the cop and on D1, I investigated EP and they are scum. I didn't investigate last night because my friggin email stopped notifying me and I forgot about it.

So we need to lynch EP. If there's a doc, you need to heal me because I'm as good as dead if you don't. I'll remember to investigate from now on and hopefully we'll catch the other scum.

Wendy's Pros
Thicker, so make better poutine
Crisp outside every time
Don't go cold and hard as fast

Wendy's Cons
Not salty enough
Hot oil sometimes gets into pockets in the fries and burns your mouth unexpectedly
Become as sharp as knifes if they get cold
Cant tell fresh batch from old

Fun fact: I work at Wendy's. Most people complain about the fries being too salty. Plus we provide salt packets for just such an occasion.  :P

But as someone who's eaten a ton of Wendy's fries, they do get pretty damn sharp when they're cold (if they cool away from the fry wells), if they aren't floppy (if they cool in the fryer basket or fry wells). And it isn't just the pockets that the oil gets into, it just clings to the surface. I've gotten 1st degree burns on my hands from the fries, which is one reason why I try to stay away from the fry station because I burn the shit out of myself every time I'm there.

And maybe I'm just a connoisseur when it comes to fries, but it's easy for me to tell the difference between new and old Wendy's fries. I can't stand the old fries.

But yeah. My sad is that I'm in a situation in which I feel helpless but also feel sort of guilty for bringing about the situation in the first place. Also: I have a cold and it's pleasantly warm outside.

Let's see how far we can get...
LVIII: Nope, only Townies voted the first Lynchee (Town). (2 Townies, 1 Scum voting otherwise)
LVII: Nope, only Townies voted the first Lynchee (Town). (3 Townies, 1 Townie and 1 Scum voting otherwise)
LVI: Nope, only Townies voted the first Lynchee (Mafia). (2 Townies, 2 Townies voting otherwise)
LV: Yes, 1 Scum voted the first Lynch (Town). (4 Townies and 1 Scum, 1 Scum and 3 Town voting otherwise) <-- First instance of scum voting for the first lynch, but definitely not both.
LIV: Nope, only Townies voted the first Lynch at all (Town). (2 Townies, 1 Townie voted otherwise)
LIII: Yes, 1 Scum voted the first Lynchee (Town). (5 Townies and 1 Scum, 2 Townies voting otherwise) <-- Second instance of scum voting for the first lynch, but still not both.
LII: Nope, only Townies voted the first Lynchee (Town). (3 Townies, 1 Townie and 2 Scum voting otherwise)
LI: Nope, only Townies voted the first Lynchee (Town). (4 Townies, 2 Townies and 1 Scum voting otherwise)
L: Yes, 1 Scum voted the first Lynchee (Town). (2 Townies and 1 Scum, 3 Townies voting otherwise)
And this is the point where I got bored doing research.

Well pardon me for not paying attention to this small detail.  :P
I understand the validity of your theory now.

You have to realize at some point that there are recurring patterns in this game. They keep happening for a reason. Scum don't want to associate with each other, which is what is fundamentally different from Town. They KNOW who their teammates are. That's why their actions are affected.
I failed to notice this pattern before. I stand corrected.

If you think I'm lying, then you have literally zero idea how I play this game as Town or Scum.
I don't know how you play this game. I haven't played with you before.

If you mind me asking, who else was acting suspicious, if you believe I should've questioned someone else?

As I've said, I don't know your playstyle, thus I can't really tell you who you should have questioned. The issue for me was mainly the tunneling. IIRC AbstractTraitorHero came under fire at some point, but I don't remember you having much to do with that argument. I probably missed this though because I'm sick and can't be trusted to make any cohesive thoughts.

Was gonna post anyway but saw the prod. I do have good news though: I made it on the mock trial team! ^_^

But anyways... back to mafia stuff.

Webadict:
Yeah, that's right. I'm asking why you DIDN'T vote a town player. Why did you believe he wasn't scum? It seems odd, really. He made a scummy series of plays. His behavior was suspicious. And yet, you didn't vote him, right?

This seems a bit hypocritical. If I recall correctly, your reason for voting them was that they were somewhat scummy. I also find that your theory that the scum are more likely among those not voting for the townie as a bit too much of WIFOM for my tastes. While I do agree that it's possible for the scum to be among that number, that should not be a focus. While this may simply be a difference in play styles, it still seems kinda off to me.

I'd also like to point out that after your initial vote on snow dwarf, you kept pushing at him, despite your only reasons being as flimsy as they were. You caught someone and you started tunneling. Again, may be a difference in play styles, but I still find it pretty darn suspicious. Especially when others were apparently acting suspicious as well.

Silthuri

Thoughts on yesterday?
I'm not a big player D1 in general. i'm not a fan of RVS. Yesterday appeared to be filled with weak attempts to attack people, which is the usual. It may hold more significance later, but for now, I myself don't find anything extremely useful there yet.

Quote
Who do you think is town? Why do you think this?
I'm fairly cool with webadict. But I don't think I've ever actually played a game with 'em. Everyone aside from them and those mentioned in my answer below are pretty much neutral.

Hmm... Going off of RVS, I'd have to say EP? I dunno. EP jumped around a lot, which isn't a scummy action in and of itself and somethin's just off about 'em. I'd feel kinda bad if I didn't name someone here, but take my suspicion with a grain of salt. I've been playing way too much Town of Salem lately and my mafia instincts are way off as of late.

Not much activity people must be quite busy?
I dunno about everyone else, but I've had quite a bit of stuffs going on. And today, I've got tryouts for the mock trial team so... O.O

A more thorough reading and post coming after mock trial things are done for the day.

I've done it for years. I've assured him would be there in every way possible and tried to be content with his solitary nature. But it seems he would rather post cryptic messages on social media than come to me for assurances he obviously needs based on what he's been saying to others.

I can feel a sleepless night coming on.

Thank you depression for giving me the urge to stay awake all night because I feel useless as a girlfriend because apparently lying to me about nothing being wrong is apparently better than confiding with me where I could possibly help. Especially when I know damn well that somethings wrong.

Not wanting to dump problems on me is counterintuitive because when I inevitably find out the problem, this happens and I lose my shit for a week. I feel like I'm being slammed with so many emotions at once that all I can do is stare at the friggin wall.

I've had a fairly good day. My spring break has begun, I have all the materials to join two school organizations that will really help me in the career I want and I'm currently at a table top club gathering which I should be having fun at.

But I'm not. I should feel the relief that comes with having midterms over with and a week of rest ahead of me, but I don't. I feel very weighed down and emotionally drained. And I feel a sort of... jealousy and slight hatred of all the people smiling and having fun.

I've made so much progress with my depression, but I still have some of these days where I just want to curl up in a ball, forget about the world and cry myself to sleep for no apparent reason.

I just wanna go home...  :'(
