Meanwhile in Uganda, all social media has been banned ahead of the upcoming elections, likely because Wine, the opposition leader, was using it to broadcasts rallies etc. after current African Dictator Museveni prevented regular media outlets covering them.

Basically just another day in Africa.

She would chomp on fresh greens, though, probably for the same reason cats will nom blades of grass.  To be adorable something about aiding digestion.

Probably the sweet taste. Animals have a habit of liking things that are sweet -- that's why you have to be careful not to leave antifreeze (or is it another dangerous liquid that taste sweet?) out and about around pets.

Antifreeze, yeah. It's glycerol or something, which is a sugar-related substance somehow (hence glyce-).

And I have a slight fear of walking amongst tall reeds because of how sharp the leaves can be. My brother and I once discovered he had a ~7cm cut slashed across his arm while we were navigating a particularly dense piece of swampland. Neither of us noticed it happen, just that at some point he started dripping blood...

I've seen snow, but only in the distance on mountain tops. Never interacted with it in person, closest I've got is the six-inch-deep aftermath of Natal hailstorms.

In that case it would be standard to cite the agency, yes. It can go either way with organisations, but if their recommended citation is the agency then the agency it is.

More than three authors and you should cite "[First Author] et. al.", or possibly the name of the team if there is one.

bothered. unmoisturised. unhappy. occupying more lanes than a 22 wheeler with an alcoholic at the wheel. unfocused. wilting.

I already talk to the birds in my garden, it's not too much more of a descent. :P

I love your poultry, Caz.

I saw that video earlier. I love capybaras.

non-Euclidean geometry.
So Cthulhu?

It doesn't have to be Lovecraftian, just not on planes. For instance, you can draw a triangle with three 90 degree corners on the surface of a sphere!

Nice! The manga definitely lends itself to adaptation, a well-done one actually makes me want to check it out.

I'd be upset if the vaccine made me gay. I don't particularly dislike gay people or anything (have a hell of a time hanging out here if I did :P), it's just upsetting.

Laundry detergents and other similar detergents can be powerful enough to damage the skin on the outside, which is infinitely more resilient than our squishy purple interiors. The Tide Pod Challenge is about a half-step away from chugging arsenic for the Epic Memes. There is no quantity of hilarity worth the amount of suffering it'll cause.
