My graphics card somehow... undied itself. I am not very trusting of it, so I will proably be getting a new one anyway, but it's still weird that it was supposedly deader than dead and now it's working.

Boondocks is anime style, not an anime.

I heard stupid people fighting about it, so I tried to keep it neutral. Not an anime, then.

Re: anti-friendship anime crew

Boondocks did something like that, but with old people. See Colonel H. Stinkmeaner and The Hateocracy.

Although it is arguable if one can call Boondocks an anime. Graphically, I'd say it bears an uncanny resemblance to one, but that's about it. Plus, its country of origin is US, after all.

Where the rulers of the world, I.E. those with the most friends, all sign a treaty and separate their citizens at all times, to prevent friendships from forming and changing the status quo.

But surely their oppressive rule can be overthrown by a ragtag team of teenagers with the power of... you guessed it, friendship.

This is a brilliant idea.

So uh, is Kissanime safe to use again yet? Its showing up as kissanime.ru now and I don't know whether that is good or bad?
Do not worry Comrade, your anime is safe with us, the people. Do not forget that we love capitalism and Donald Trump like you do, and also anime. Watch all the anime you want Comrade, because now it is free for the worker -w-working class. It is free for the working class.
Comrade.

My red sense was tingling, and so I came. I literally haven't opened this thread for months.

In anime related news, I'm watching Patlabor - saw Early Days and 3 movies. Kinda lost about what is next up, but surely Google will help me out. I'm digging it.

Today I heard Daft Punk on Top Gear (Arena, Solar Sailer et al from Tron Legacy Soundtrack in S17E03). That's a happy for me.

I sort of remember him from Rus politics thread back in, uh, '13, I think? It was actually possible to converse about Ukraine back then. Later on, there was only hate.

Nii-Sama Big Brother...  How is KGB pronounced in the original Russian?  Because I'm bad at getting accurate pronunciation out of music...
Nice song though!

Find second option for Russian on this page - they fuck up pronunciation of "Russia", somehow, but they nail the KGB part

above 25-30 C, depends on the time of the year. We're off at 14:00 then, so I still have to cycle an hour at the hottest time of the day. Not ideal tbh.

It's 28C over here right now and I consider it pleasantly cool. You lot just need to toughen up. :P

No, no, no, you got it all wrong. 28C would be pleasantly warm, -10C is pleasantly cool.

Yesterday it was -11 C and snowing down as hard as a sodding blizzard. We still had school.
i'm mad

In central Russia the drill goes like this: elementary school and middle school are out of business if outside temperature drops below -25 Celsius in daylight, high school is out if it's below -35.

In Siberia they hardly ever cancel school because of the colds, save for extremes, say, -50 with blizzard. Or so I hear.

In my personal experience, I recall school being out due to the cold once, I think - I was in elementary back then.

Why do clothes made from polyester just say 'polyester' on the washing instructions and not, say, 'polyethylene terephthalate'? Cotton clothing isn't marked as being made of 'cellulose fiber', sure, but I'd still like to know how to properly dispose of the material once I'm done with it.
