Head out on the road. Seek out small towns that look like they need adventurers for something.
You gather your poor belongings into one small sack (but yer sword is still protrudes out of it), put on your pretty weared suit and head to railway station through the city's guts.
Though you knew how it should look like, you now see quite another face of the city. No parks, squares, or even streets - you have to go through sandlots, industrial zones, working quaters aтв other places that are no good for you. You see beggars and homeless - their arms stretching to you, their pale faces and thin lips praising for a singulus.
[1] As you turn the next corner, you see a kind of long and straight passage made by a huge factory, a long and broad building with chimneys of all sorts and sizes coming out of it, on one side and a group of storehouses built so close to each other that there is no way for a person to walk between them. You make half way through this passage when you see a group of obviously drunk people, dressed in black longcoats with red bands on their left sleeves. Some of them are still holding bottles of vodka.
And they seem to mention you, so you're now their prime interest. They're approaching quickly.
You are sneaking through narrow lanes and idestreets to avoid the crowd [4] and you're now end up to the place officialy unknown, but known well among the outcasts and rebels of the town - so called Nowhere Square. It is actually a blind alley, but mane doors and even ladders are leading from here to former industrial zone, now occupied by outlaws of various sorts. You crawl up one of the ladders that leads you to a small tower, intended to be guard tower of the facility, but transformed to a tavern known as Lantern - 'cause lights from it are lighting the Nowhere Square.
As you come to the taver, you see that it is quite deserted. But two visitors are still here: one of them is an elf with scar across his face and a heavy gaze directed to the bottom of his huge mug, and another one is truly remarkable - you're lucky to see a dragonborn, but to see a draginborn soldier - that is an event shown once in your life. However, he seems to be asleep. You are wandering for job from a barman, a fat half-blood elf.
Work, heh? I guess you should wake one of those two up to get some, but that is risky.
