Whelp, I'm back after a few years of absence. So I'm about to start my fort, and as I always feel in Dwarf Fortress: I'm mildly panicking over the things I always suck at setting up: namely textiles and now papermaking.

If you use DFHack to spawn in a bunch of armour in adventure mode, will it automatically fit a Dwarf character, or do you only get human sized armour? This is vital information, because... reasons.

Found one more that embodies dwarves even better than The Confusion of Breaching.
Adil, goddess of caverns, fire, mountains, metals, trade, volcanoes, and wealth.
The only way she can do even better as goddess of all things dorfy is if she had candy, elf-slaying, or environment destruction as part of her spheres

Yup.
It's worshipped by the dwarf named after me in a modern-time Zombie mod, so I'd guess he just as a case of OCD. Not that I have OCD. I do like symmetry though. Pretty sure he/she's just the god of equality or something.

So, after going through Legends Viewer with a new 40.24 world, I found one of the greatest emergent deities I've seen ever.
The Confusion of Breaching is a deity that occurs in the myths of The Paddle of Chasms. The is most often depicted as a male dwarf.
Associated Spheres: jewels, minerals, mountains, volcanos, fire, sun, dawn and twilight
He is the god of all that is good for a dwarf and in the world... and his name is the Confusion of Breaching.
I imagine that his creation story is that he erupted from Hell, creating the first volcano, and in that confusion ascended to godhood. Breaching from the planet, if you will.
What odd deities have you gotten in your worlds, and what do you think their stories are?

Does the createitem command make dwarf size armors and weapons? I want to try and make a demigod to reach proper heroic status by using adamantine weapons and armor, but since I don't know if dwarves can get createitem things...

I made a hospital zone and now I'm a bit worried. Is the old thread glitch still a thing? Like thread will keep being brought to the hospital despite the settings saying "you're at max?"
