Up on mantis. It's hardly a matter of concern, of course, but a bug's a bug.Remember mounts were boosted during the last release to ensure siegers always had access to them (and goblins stopped butchering their beakdogs too). A farming community of 100 dwarfs has 350 horses? I don't see anything buggy about that. Again, the horsesplosion bugs made fps killing herds of thousands at each site. A bug's a bug, yeah. Except when it's not.
I mean, it's not as if we're facing a potential hostile equine takeover right? Hahahahaha haa haaaa ha ha neighhh...
When the economy hits, all those horses will be sold or eaten during famines so it should sort itself out naturally.
Twenty-five visitors. There are twenty-five visitors in my not-even-one-day-old fortress. They better not eat or drink anything.
Wait...no, that would mean they're vampires.
We were ambushed by a lot of bandits and
They all ran away immediately.
i wish there was a facepalm action for your character ingame ...
The stocks screen in fortress mode is in alphabetical order now, unless that was an option somewhere that I never saw before
Pretty major artifact duplication bug it seems in adventure mode if you display a artifact while the artifact is on its pedestal if you wait/do anything that passes time the artifact gets displaced despite still being on its pedestal so theirs a displaced version of the artifact and the pedestal version if it.I just encountered something similar. I walked into a keep, and there was an artifact dagger on the floor - picked it up, gave it to the lord. I fast travelled away and came back later - the dagger was on the floor again, but a copy of it was also in the lords possession - when I picked it up, it vanished from his inventory. He also said "last I heard, I had it".
Edit would post it to mantis but dont got a account for it yet.
I don't have a mantis account yet either, so I'm gonna post it here because its really major - companions do not attack other things alongside you. I went into a towns dungeon and attacked a criminal - neither of my companions helped, they weren't tagged as allies either - they didn't run either, just stood there.
To confirm it, I made another adventurer and attacked some random soldiers in a mead hall alongside a companion. Same result - the soldiers all attacked me at once, but the companion just stood there.
I would guess this is related to the identity bugs other people have been posting with "unknown creature" stuff.
Bug - cloth and weapons of alive visitors are included in military equip screen.
Bug 2 - Rooms of dwarfs sent out on a mission become unowned, and not become owned even after they return.
Cave adapted dwarf visitors is bug, bot a feature?
I submitted a bug report on mantis regarding the AI in adventure mode, though I've accidentally filed it under "Quests" there doesn't appear to be a way to edit this. However, the issue is a little confusing so I thought maybe some further elaboration maybe necessary - it appears to be that people seem to be unable to identify me in combat with anyone else. The first thing I did was go on a quest to kill a forest titan, only to find that although I was able to complete the quest, both my lord and hearthmates were underwhelmed with my summary of the incident, saying ""an unknown creature is slain - it was inevitable". My next test was to just assault a random villager in front of the co-occupants of his home - they were able to identify that there was a battle going on, but were unable to place me or the victim as participants in the conflict, giving the same message yet again. If someone is slain they recognize them as dead but their knowledge of the incident appears to be out of sorts.
Also, after assuming a secret identity they now recognize me as a participant or aggressor in a conflict by my actual identity, seeing me as "unhinged" for starting a random conflict, but still not recognizing the victim regardless of their relation to them.
