Yeah, the tank is crazy cheap both to make and to research.

If it took say 100 artifacts and some advanced processors I'd be fine with it as is, make it comparable to power armor.  Maybe reduce it's resists to damage.

I assume you're referring to Arma II, but remember, Arma II is best known for the DayZ mod. I'm assuming that's why it's on there.
My guess is Alien Isolation, seeing as it's the only one not on sale.  If you were going for not scary games there were at least 2 others on that list that wouldn't count.

Do you guys think there well ever be support for multiple colonies? That was always one of the limitations I strained against from the Seirra games like Pharaoh/Cesar/Zeus to Dwarf Fortress. Even if time was stopped Sims style, I would enjoy the ability to at least pretend I was slowly colonizing an entire planet. (To be honest this is likely once again a pipe dream, alas it is too little game-play for such a significant resource investment.)
There already is support for multiple colonies, they just don't interact yet.  You create a world and then choose where you want to place your colony, and then you just save your colony state like in any other game.  Then instead of loading your last colony you can just start a new one on the same world.  So right now it is the sims style, just no interaction.

The whole world system isn't done yet, the last few biomes aren't even open yet.

Also on the whole demo thing: Don't expect a demo from a major company, they've all come to the same conclusion.  Out of 9 possible combinations between good, mediocre and bad game and demo combinations only 1 will increase sales, the majority hurt sales and the rest have a overall neutral effect.

Yeah, you can't operate (to remove or add) on corpses.

Prisoners are worth more as parts sold to just about anyone, as opposed to sell them as slaves.

But it strikes me as game one plays a couple times and then loses interest in.
Not a game, but a mode within a game?  Sure, something you jump into when you are tiered of other game modes.

And it'd.be great if the game was smart enough to let trains, planes, boats or trucks use any connected depot.
Fixed that for you.

At least openTTD let you make multiple lane stops and allowed vehicles to choose their own lane.

When selecting a vehicle you can use the drop down list on the bottom right to select a product and only vehicles that would be able to move said good will populate your list.

You don't want to set to full load for passengers because passengers have a target destination, and a set time they will travel.  If your train is waiting to leave because it needs to fill up and it waits for too long people wont want to board because the train's travel time will be to slow so they wont want to board so the train will never fill.

This isn't OpenTTD, everything has a destination and a maximum travel time.

I like this game for trains, but I despise the economic model. if only there were set sell/purchase prices for products, or at least market driven, instead of distance driven.

distance driven prices are dumb.  :P
You aren't buying and selling the goods, you are being payed to move it.

Would be neat if being a actual commodity broker company was an option in some of these games.

You know what's better than showing a unrelated video game while talking about your game?  Showing art, show art related to your setting, your ideas for characters, your ideas for places.  You know what else works besides showing a competing product?  Showing your face, make a video of you and others who are working or interested in the project as you talk about the project.

It's not even that the zombie atom smasher in the background is a different product, it's distracting.  Same with the KS video, he's boring and the background is distracting.

Idea's neat, doesn't need to be KSed.  Age of digital distribution kind of kills the idea of HAVING to fund a book.  Sell it online and THEN use those funds to produce a physical copy.

Anyone have a save where you start in a situation similar to XCOM?
If I wasn't so inebriated right now I could set something like that up.  It would be more like Solar War than pure Xcom.  The whole game focusing on running a grand multiple star faring empire part of Aurora make the idea hard, but not impossible.

Now facing that challenge in Aurora, now that is near impossible, but still probable.  Could be possible as a multiplayer game.  Humans and invaders taking turns setting orders with a GM (or have the invaders' player try and run a 'fair' game) to run time.

Wait, does Artemis actually have a game associated with it, now? Last I heard it was a single test mission that was fun once or twice, but not so great after you knew what to expect.
That would have been the demo, around 2 years ago.  Even then the game had a few different adjustable missions, and allowed multiple bridge crews to play together/against each other.

Enough oxygen/methane, with the right ratios.  Also gravity within certain variables.  I set it to 100% and still only run into a new NPR in a system every 20 or so.

Research progress is tied to colony.  So by stoping the research there and moving the colony you are doing that research on you start over
