Put
light infantry into the buildings I have circled with yellow (or behind them if they can't get in. If there are people tell them to evacuate NOW!) and stay out of sight untill our vehicles make the first strike, leaving one squad to cover the bridge and cut off enemy escape route, one to the other side of the road and one to act as reserves with half of our
mortar infantry (MSS43 Infantry) behind the buildings where they can get to assist either bridge squad if enemy transports try to back away, or to that last house that will act as our last chance in stopping them if everything works. Their transports should stay in the woods behind the buildings and near the reserve group, exept for bridge group whose transports would be with our
artillery, and that one group on the other side of the road whose transport should be behind them. I divided
mortar infantry in half because we don't know what kind of communications we have and how well we can direct our
artillery from that far, so if snafu they can probably guess where they need to fire from the sounds while there are still few solders to guard our
artillery.
I divided our trucks in two groups as well, one to make the initial attack from behind the buildings (if there is cover, otherwise from the forest behind them) when convoy guards reach that turn in the road so they can pop up from behind the wall and let loose few rounds (prioritizing possible tanks and other vehicles), then hit the reverse and back down to safety. This with the
infantry fire should get their attention while that other group comes through the woods and hits them from behind. Note that this assumes that they can get there through the woods first. If not then first vehicle group should attack rear/middle of the convoy (where ever they can reach) from their cover (houses or woods), while second group comes up the road from behind the turn in our deployment zone and hits defenders when they try to turn around and protect their convoy trucks.
It's not good to put civilians into danger, but since it gives us the opportunity to fire broadside at point-blank it'll be worth it. Just make sure civilians leave south (towards bottom of the map) so they can't warn the convoy (our reserves can help in that).
