Ancient Forest

The Rathalos inhales, aiming a blast of fire at Brynn. It then seems to be preparing to charge, sweeping down from the sky in a manner that would hit everyone who didn't dodge!

The giant mechanical spider flashes its green light at the flying wyvern, increasing its initiative by 7 and decreasing its ability to harm people. It doesn't really seem to process this.

Brynn swings her blade at the Rathalos. It's agile enough to maneuver through the air such that her strike doesn't land as squarely as she'd like, however. She deals [31] damage.

IP hucks a tomahawk at the wyvern, dealing [29] damage as the weapon thumps into the Rathalos's torso.

Newton flies around some more.

Mira prepares to counter the incoming charge, readying her Lunar Stance and patching herself up to perfect condition.

Coral Highlands

The party follows a trail of scratches, discarded scales, and near the end, dried blood on a long and painful trek up to the seeming peak of this region. Upon climbing the last small cliff face of rocky coral, they emerge into what appears to be a nest. Mostly because of the blue wyvern nestled in the center, snoozing away. The creature is obviously wounded, having apparently encountered another predator armed with what looked like spines. Maybe it came out on top, given the spines were broken away and lodged in the current threat's side, but it was not doing well, regardless.

Log out? What. . . what would that even mean? The Divers log out and return to the "real world," but this is my world. Where would I. . . ? Alexis shook her head, trying to clear the sudden wave of confusion, anxiety, and intense curiosity the option's appearance had prompted.
"It seems we've all been subjected to whatever that was." Diverting her curiosity for a moment, she brought up and selected the "About" option; that seems like the least risky way to shed some light on this.
"Your words meant little. Care to elucidate us on what just happened?"

"What. . . Caladbolg?" She quickly moved to analyze the supposed installation, flipping through her menus with a thought in an attempt to track down the wayward code. "Gustave, did you get an installation message just now?"

"What Rork said. Of course it's long and dangerous, it's a damned combat mission. Now stuff it before I do it for you." Rhian did her best to keep her volume down in her irritation, lest she prove herself a hypocrite. "I swear, one of you idiots is going to die. . ." Further anger was vented under her breath, quickly becoming unintelligible.

Without hesitation, it hurled itself at high speed, following the winged creature through the air as best it could. It reached out, yearning for the delicious food, trying to put something in its stomach before it consumed itself. It had to have that food. That was the first and currently only priority.
