Your hope of surviving with such a flimsy shield is adorable.
Set the chance of the bigholder's eyemajjiks failing to as close to 1.0 as possible.
Also, dodge the attack, if possible, and take cover behind the wall.

This seems interesting. However, I have some comments:
1) The original post is very, very barebones. Going into it, I have very little idea of what I'm getting into. I don't even know what the base system is, or what I'm even going to be doing, really. I need more information before I can really evaluate the game.
2) I'm not sure what the sources actually do. For example, how is "10s cooldown" different from "10s timing"? Is there any benefit for choosing a 30s cooldown over a 10s cooldown? Why is "joke" a source, and what does it do? Why would I choose "Once Use" over something like, say, "10s cooldown"?
I am intrigued, but I can't tell what the game really is or how it works.

I had a spell idea prepared for each of you. Jase would be my best friend and hate all of your guts, Skelliborn would be forevermore unable to competently wield a sword, James would be writhing on the floor in agony as his body rotted apart, Crimson would explode, David would rise from the dead and serve me as a zombie, Shias would be marked for death by all of nature and/or mauled by a space-bear, King Coal would come back (still in dragon form)... Ah, what could have been (that didn't even include the numerous buffs I would have had!).
I'll give an Internet cookie to anyone (who isn't/wasn't a member of F.E.C.E.S.) who can guess what my affinity would have been.

What's the deal with that?IIRC, somebody hacked them, and WP's being tight-lipped about the whole deal, though, apparently, the hacker destroyed ... pretty much everything, really. There's a fan-made quasi-replacement here, for the time being.

Oh wow, has this changed in the time I've been gone. Full world map, with procedurally generated map, individual buildings, a full upgrade list, wow. Quite good!
I can't seem to pan around when in a zoomed in view. Is there a keybind I'm missing?
