I actually feel a bit giddy over the prospect of what Anonymous will do when they catch wind of it. I feel a bit sorry for the lawmakers, but... trying something that STUPID will inevitably have dire consequences.

And forums generally do not take kindly to trolling, which this individual is engaging in. Posting one misguided political hot-button topic consisting of a link to a video about how feminists are evil without any substance/input of your own? Okay, everybody makes dumb mistakes. Posting two (edit: oops, make that... what - four?) within such a short span of time? I can only assume Kilroy is looking to get a rise out of forum patrons, given the fact that he is posting contentious material and then essentially failing to shepherd or put any meaningful input into the topics. The scarce replies he has made in his own topics have mainly consisted of links to more contentious material. There is no particular reason to treat this as anything but trolling, especially since this is a general discussion forum, not a political forum.

On behalf of the 19th and 20th centuries, please stop posting this shit. On top of that, I just got a call from the 21st century. It wanted to me to tell you that you're no longer invited to its birthday party and that you're just going to have to find some new centuries to hang out with.

Yeah. Yesterday I accidentally dropped a giant jar of catnip on the carpet in this room. Before I could clean it up, my cat ran over and *stuffed* his head in there. It looked like the scene at the end of Scarface where Tony facedives into the giant pile of cocaine.

Edit:
While searching for the relevant image from the movie, I found this... O.o

Anyway, this is a rather pointless argument, and I am being arbitrary, sorry. Let's get on with the WTF!

Sirus, you should probably read where I agreed that he is a git. I'll ignore the rest of your post since you're just setting up a strawman.

Pnx - it was a charity hand-out, not a restaurant. Therefore I assume it was in an open, public space. I don't think he was 'following people around' - he was (presumably) filming them in a line. The original quote said he was 'fairly close' to them, which may or may not be 'shoving his camera RIGHT in their face'. If he was doing that, I agree, he was probably violating their personal space. If he was just standing back or walking up and down the line at a distance and filming them, though, he wasn't doing anything other than being an annoying buffoon, and there is no law which says 'if somebody is an annoying buffoon and is filming you, you may attempt to steal or damage their camera', as far as I know.

No argument that he's a git, nor that he should have EXPECTED that reaction from a bunch of people in those circumstances. I don't feel sorry for what happened to him after he hit the lady, either. BUT:

1. Like it or not, it is his right to videotape people in public places. You do NOT need anyone's permission to videotape them in public as long as it is not a location in which one should expect privacy (bedroom, bathroom, etc).
2. I also don't feel particularly sorry for the woman who got hit, since she attempted to steal (or at least mess with) his private property. THAT was illegal. Of course, hitting her for it was also illegal, and makes the guy seem like even more of an arsehat.
3. Vorthon, you actually happen to be wrong. Canada has roughly the same rules as the US; filming people in public without their consent is totally okay.

That guy seems absolutely nuts. He's like a grown man with the mind of a mentally incompetent kid from the 50's with a serious superhero infatuation.

OTOH he also seems pretty harmless. Why all the hostile reactions to him?

Augh. Link-surfing on Amazon is starting to erode my sense of reality.

Damn you, Amazon.

I think constricting anus 100 times and denting navel 100 times in succession everyday is effective to good-bye depression and take back youth. You can do so at a boring meeting or in a subway. I have known 70-year-old man who has practiced it for 20 years. As a result, he has good complexion and has grown 20 years younger. His eyes sparkle. He is full of vigor, happiness and joy. He has neither complained nor born a grudge under any circumstance. Furthermore, he can make #### three times in succession without drawing out.In addition, he also can have burned a strong beautiful fire within his abdomen. It can burn out the dirty stickiness of his body, release his immaterial fiber or third attention which has been confined to his stickiness. Then, he can shoot out his immaterial fiber or third attention to an object, concentrate on it and attain happy lucky feeling through the success of concentration. If you don't know concentration which gives you peculiar pleasure, your life looks like a hell.

After roaming through the old threads, I found this.

honestly, some of the stuff that was said in there was just weird.

Speaking of conspiracies, I'm having WAY too much fun baiting some birther conspiracy nuts on a political forum I occasionally post on...

One of them, responding to a general attitude of mockery amongst all the other posters (both liberal and conservative): It's worse than we thought.

My post: Oh, so you've finally realized? You foolish Americans spent decades butting heads with the Russians, China, the 'terrorists' in the Middle East... you wasted billions of dollars fighting those incompetent fools, always feeling superior, never suspecting we, your true enemy, your greatest threat, were lurking and waiting, waiting...

Reeeaaaally glad I didn't let me friend talk me into getting this.

For those of you enjoying the game, that's good. But my friend's description was basically that it was sheer awesomeness, and now that I've actually gotten around to studying it more carefully, it's definitely not the type of game that I'd enjoy.
