In Dwarf Fortress/raw/objects, you have to make a custom interaction (create a new text file with the name "interaction_whateveryouwanttonameit") and paste all that in there.

Edit: would it work by editing the ineraction_vampirism in raw/interaction examples ?

I once pondered the idea but gave it up due to my lack of modding knowledge.
Maybe they could use some kind of caste system to determine which gem the individual has and when when trading, if offered gems/cut gems/gem engraved items react similarily to elves with wood.

I usually add beards to females, enable kobolds and goblins for adv mode, a night elf race, delete [ARENA_RESTRICTED] from most underground creatures and add katanas + warglaives

This is one of the best things ive seen in DF, not only is it funny and cool, but it also works wonderfully.

EDIT: tested with Putnam's Dragon Ball mod, enemies were sent flying everywhere. They were always great melee fighters so this just made them even more dangerous

How do you actually make a temple dedicated to the concept of victory in Dwarf Fortress, of all games ?

Statues of fights/sieges in which your dwarves have been victorious and crafts/totems/whatevers made of megabeast bones

Imagine you're fighting back some goblins when your sword suddenly melts ands starts strangling you

Slightly related to the last question, what are DF players called? We've earned fandom title, so we should have some title amongst ourselves, yeah? Maybe Urists...

Uristers? Dorfs? Dwarf Fortress players?

Why does my militia commander grow attached to a F****** ashen training sword (and even bestows it an epic name) instead of the masterwork steel sword I made just for him?

I recently arrived to a human town, but the market is full of goblins selling authntic rat weed!
I even went to the middle tower to check if the nobles were goblin too, turns out the are human, maybe there was a goblin/human alliance?

Now this is a great idea! Ive been torturing myself over which plants are edible, brewable and which arent.
The page I'm most interested on is the hospital one, I cant seem to build a correctly functioning one.
And as it has alrady been said above, you grammar is completely correct, havent seen a single error nor in this post nor in the compendium.

I just made my butcher my Chief Medical Dwarf and a Surgeon.
Now I permanently image him as the Medic from Team Fortress 2

I don't have much else worth presenting that isn't buggy as hell, overpowered, or just plain boring. I'm currently working on custom body parts so I can make some truly freaky creatures, but that's still a ways off.

I'd like to know what is considered "overpowered" by DF standards. Also, I dont think people will mind "boring" creatures, anything that is not already in the game is an innovation, and I'd like to know what vile fiends people's minds have created.

Some ideas:
Minotaur Lair
Forgotten Beasts trapped in cages (linked to levers)
Big Shiny Prize at the end
Parkour (jumping and climbing are going to be added next version, right?)
Lots of Engravings on walls (to make it look like some sort of ruin)
Traps, lots of them

Thank you very much, sir. Not only I healed myself, but I also slaughtered the Bogeymen (being a Legendary Swordsman).

But I made the mistake of getting into a tomb a day later, found cool equipment and got INSTANTLY KILLED BY A MUMMY NOR ME OR MY COMPANIONS SAW.

This game is seriously hardcore.
