Its also worth noting that conjurers can get some nice benefits from Uskayaw. AOEs like Fireball or, eventually, Fire Storm are good at generating piety and should work quite nicely with the pain bond. Plus there's Grand Finale for killing the super durable Pan/Hell lords[In case you don't have a good supply of throwing nets/paralysis needles].

....I guess I should just play on training wheels adventurer mode but I can't help but feel like that's taking something away from what makes roguelikes great.

Honestly, Adventurer Mode is basically required to play ToME and keep your sanity. While the game is usually pretty fair, it sometimes just spawns an absolutely ridiculous enemy that can kill you 1-2 turns after seeing it. I always play on Adventurer Mode, although that reflex iss back when enemies could get the talent that makes them invisible AND explodes for huge AOE damage when it runs out. I have memories of literally dying while autoexploring without getting a single turn to react.

As for the starting dungeon grind... Yeah, that's honestly the most annoying part of the game. However, if your level is too high for a given area, it gives you the option to just skip to the last level. Since the boss at the end has by far the majority of xp and loot from the dungeon, you really don't need to do the boring first couple floors. There IS also a way to grind in the very late game, if you still haven't reached level 50 or REALLY want a particular artifact before entering the final dungeon.

On a note of tougher/more complex gods to use, has anybody ever managed to do something useful with Fedhas?

Wandering mushrooms are very robust, especially since they're so easy to get, but are incredibly annoying to use because of their "Freeze whenever an enemy comes in sight" schtick. Oklobs are in a similar boat, except they deal more damage and are COMPLETELY immobile.

Is this dead?

Not if I can help it. The save is basically right at the start of Spring, which should help resync things anyways. I'm quite sorry that it took me this long to admit defeat and hand in the save. If FPS is too bad, then turning off the pumps draining the cavern lake might help. I had no framerate problems myself, but my sole 64-bit capable computer is pretty robust when I can actually access it.

Question :

I chose Nemelex as god

I think I've identified your first mistake ;)
Usually, explaining why a given choice is a mistake, or giving advice on how to make the best of that error, is more appreciated. I've seen a lot of "well, your probem is you are playing as an x" on DCSS threads. It's uninformative, unhelpful, and stale humor.

Eh, I think its fair enough here. Choosing Nemelex is basically asking for inventory management trouble[Unless you're a felid]. Really, just don't treat trash decks like valuable commodities and go absolutely ham with the good decks when trouble rears its distressingly furry head and Nemelex is a pretty solid god.

Question :

I chose Nemelex as god, and have too much decks. Do you kept all of them or use them all the time, or drop them, or keep them somewhere ?

General rule: If there are enemies in LoS and you have offensive decks a tier below your best deck, use your lowest tier deck on them. Its better then pressing "." and it clears out clutter quite well.

Anor londo silver knight archers

Time your rolls. If you just rollspam you'll run out of stamina, so learn when your iframes are.

Alternatively, two-hand a shield with a high Stability stat.

Yeah, honestly, that part you're at is the most annoying part of the game, including bonewheel skeletons. It helps to realize that as long as you're sprinting up the first set of ramps, they won't be able to hit you. Then, once you're at the same ledge the knights are on, charge the one to the right and get close enough that he pulls out his sword so you can melee him to death. This method has worked for me on several separate characters, several of whom had 0 poise and didn't use shields. Its still a goddamn pain though, especially since you have to redo the moderately dangerous bat demon fights every time.

I quite like how this turned out, especially since it took literally five minute to make.

Actual contribution:

Davarn DeFolde, Dark Elf.

Formerly a detective, until he investigated too closely into a case that tied crown prince Geldall to some very murky affairs. He was thus disgraced through a rigged trial, and sentenced to fifty years of hard labour. When the Morrowind crisis began, he was given a choice: put his skills to use as an Imperial agent in Vvardenfell, or die. Thus, he was dispatched to investigate the crisis, armed only with his wits and a full pardon.
The Blades chose DeFolde as their agent on account of him being a Dark Elf, and thus familiar with the province. Unfortunately, he has never set foot on Vvardenfell, and will have to flounder through as best he can.

Since Turkey is kind of relevant with their ties to the EU, and I can't recall any thread where it'd be more appropriate:

Turkey has blocked Wikipedia without giving a reason (But apparently they asked Wikipedia to remove content "supporting terror"(which, being Turkey, likely means "The truth")).

I imagine that the thing that annoyed them was probably the following bit:

Quote from: Wikipedia-Turkish Constitutional Referendum 2017
The campaign was marred by allegations of state suppression against 'No' campaigners, while the 'Yes' campaign were able to make use of state facilities and funding to organise rallies and campaign events. Leading members of the 'No' campaign, which included many high-profile former members of the MHP such as Meral Akşener, Ümit Özdağ, Sinan Oğan, and Yusuf Halaçoğlu were all subject to both violence and campaign restrictions. The 'Yes' campaign were faced with campaigning restrictions by several European countries, with the German, Dutch, Danish and Swiss governments all cancelling or requesting the suspension of 'Yes' campaign events directed at Turkish voters living abroad. The restrictions caused a sharp deterioration in diplomatic relations and caused a diplomatic crisis between Turkey and the Netherlands. Concerns were also raised about voting irregularities, with 'Yes' voters in Germany being caught attempting to vote more than once and also being found to have been in possession of ballot papers before the overseas voting process had started. European election monitors said the vote did not meet international standards.

I imagine its probably kind of annoying for there to be a well-known and somewhat respected website presenting criticism of your farce of a coronation referendum.

As a minotaur fighter, what sort of magic do you use ? (sorry if it is a dumb question, i'm still discovering most of the game...)

Blink/Summon Butterflies and even then, only if I'm low on blink scrolls. In extended you'd want more, but those two are cheap and very useful for escaping.

Re: Temporal Wardens:

The key to being good with Temporal Wardens is realizing how good Phase Door runes are. Uncontrolled Phase Door is an absolutely TERRIBLE escape mechanism, even on a Skeleton who lacks movement infusions. But, especially as they become higher level, they grant you a very large out of phase buff that increases resist all and probably some other things. This is good on anyone, but ESPECIALLY on Temporal Wardens. This is because out of phase buffs are refreshed whenever a new one is added, instead of being overwritten. And Temporal Wardens have the Threaded Combat tree, which lets them get a small out of phase buff each time they teleport. So if you play your cards right, its quite possible to have 60-70% resist all up pretty much constantly.

As for prodigies... The first thing to keep in mind is that its never a bad idea to stockpile +stat gear to get abilities that are useful, but have stat requirements that don't match your class. Its harder without Heroism Infusions, but it should still be quite possible to qualify for Dex or Cun prodigies.

Prodigies that I'd recommend for skelewarden:

Windblade is good: It does good damage in a nice aoe and disarms to boot.

There's also Precise Shot or something long those lines, which does good damage and also probably stuns?

Cauterize keeps you from dying, which makes it the best prodigy.

Arcane Might is very good on magic/melee classes like TW, take it to get more damage

Below this point are prodigies that I know less about, but are still good:

Draconic Body is OK, but worse then Cauterize.

Temporal Form is quite good... on Paradox Mage. For TW, its only so-so. The biggest draw is being able to lower resists in an aoe with a cooldown of zero, although the respen and stun immunity are non-trivial.

Draconic Will let's you stop caring about status effects... for five whole turns. Its probably stupid overpowered if you have cooldown mitigating stuff like Stone Wall, but I dunno how good it'd be on TW.

Superpower might be worth considering, since Willpower and Paradox get along nicely, but I think Arcane Might is better for TW since they care a bit more about spellpower then mindpower.

The first thing you need to realize about Possessors is that they feel terrible to play.
Oh, good. Sort of like how Stone Wardens are stupidly tanky, but you're literally plodding around everywhere? Or worse/better than that?

The "Feeling terrible to play" part stems from a couple things:

1: They have Solipsism, but unlike actual Solipsists, their ability costs aren't designed around it[Some of them have 40-50 point costs] and no healing in forms has big antisynergy with regaining Psi via high regen[Since you'd only be getting ~50% effect from any healing].

2: They have six unique trees, one of which is all about Possession, two of which start out locked and three weapon trees which are all mutually exclusive. So Possessors are easily the most class talent limited class, even more so then Anorithils[Who have ~6 class trees and two of them are basically useless]. Whereas Possessors have a grand total of three usable class trees early on[Counting Solipsism, which I probably shouldn't], increasing to four later on[Since Possession NEEDS a cat point, their unlocks are pretty limited as well]. Maybe high-level form talents and/or being an Ogre to use the 2H and 1H+Mindstar trees would make them feel less bleh, but I've never gotten to that point.

Yeah, your Dodging is very very low, as is your Armour. Since you've got Iron Shot at 1%, I'd train only those two skills until 15ish for Dodging and 11 for Armour. Then I'd recommend learning more spells, since you have a bunch of empty slots. Bolt of Fire/Magma have highly useful shapes and neither of them require more then 5-6 points of Fire Magic investment. The usual cheap utility spells like Blink, Summon Butterflies and Repel Missiles are as good as always and require little to no investment. I'd start looking for either a demon whip of elec/drain or a staff of earth since your current melee weapons are kind of wimpy. Evocations is quite useful, but Id only train it up to ~10ish on a conjurations specialist. The most useful wands are Acid[Does good damage in a line and its non-elemental] and Iceblast[Partially irresistable, undodgeable and in a good shape]. I'd probably also keep around a Digging wand for quick escapes[Although you might want to learn Passwall instead, since you're an EE] and a Lightning wand. The biggest draw of Evocations are the miscellaneous evocables like boxes of beasts and fans of gales. All of those are pretty robust panic buttons that can easily save your stony skin if you're in a bad situation.
