I saw someone had made size comparisons on the DF wiki, but I don't know how he made those, or what he used. I think a calculator, where you can put in a humanoid shape, and then put in the volume could work.

From what im reading. The world will start to become much more alive as soon as the economy is tweaked more towards supply and demand. This will create the need for stuff, and allow for cool stuff to happen. Over time, a strong enough AI in the game could create the scenario you are wanting.

Have used the default style since I started playing the game back in 2014. Never really liked the way Tilesets looked.

DF General Discussion / My saves are not working

I play on a Ubuntu OS, and well I had to turn off my computer. I rarely keep maps for more then a day, and well, I wanted to keep this one, and well, I went to the saves to do more for my story, and well, it shows no evidence that I had a save anymore. I checked the file, and it was all still there, but the game did not recognize it. I took the file out of the save folder, and then started the game, and then placed it back in. Still doesn't show up. I have two modded creatures in the game, but they don't have error messages to them, and are in their own separate folder. If someone can help, it would greatly be appreciated. I also run the game from my terminal if that is another problem maybe, and I play the newest release.

NOTE: I did play it last night, and today, not just made it today. I do not remember how I got out of the game, but I did save inside the Mead Hall, and  I did see a bug about it on mantisreport or whatever they call it saying the game crashed if you saving inside buildings.

I die much less in the newer versions then I did in the older versions, and I like the inclusion of a lot of new places, so that you have some time to actually get to places, and the inclusion of being able to play as animal people more often, or specifically choosing to be one also helps.

These are more of the original kind of Ents, and kinda just something you see walking through any forest. Also what creatures have you designed. I might like a few in my games.

I'll take a screen shot, and they are suppose to be around 14ft tall, and more of stunted trees that can walk and talk.
