Yeah but I would also like to be immersed in the game. It's hard to be immersed with a flashing 2d symbol on the screen.

I'd like a mad max game or with a similar setting, In which you are merely a normal person thrown into the deep end. Semi realistic food, water and temperature. Custom cars and guns with very rare ammo. Massive factions and small groups. Characters that you actually grow attached to and death can happen anytime, anywhere.

I want to feel like it's really a difficult choice on whether I use my last bullets to try snipe the raiders and steal their stuff or if I should just run away. Then if I should kill the stranger Who accidentally wandered into my base because they might alert others or if I should befriend them and get an ally. Not only that though, I want it to truly feel like murder if you kill them.

I just thought this up while looking at the new mad max game and thinking how he could beat up like 20 people no problem.

Noodles

Would you rather kill a baby pig or curse it to a life of suffering.

Life Advice / Re: I don't want... anything.

On the other hand, don't think too much about goals and all that. Even I, if start thinking about ultimate life goal and why to do anything, will become depressed because there's no any. Just focus on [finding] things interesting for you here and now.
+1

Gotta agree with this. Better to focus on the present and the short term future. Unless it's stuff that will damage you in the long term. But yeah just try a few new things, even if you REALLY don't want to go. Also don't give up after one go, try at least one more time before giving up and moving on.

I like to think of everything as a potential story. Say I might have no way back home. I'll think even if I have to walk at least it will be a funny story to tell my friends. Don't know if that will help you, but it did help me to do stuff.

Also I wouldn't recommend doing nothing. You might end up in hospital if you just sit around for a while thinking about things. Not only will you get weaker in muscles, but also I've found the more I think about things in the very long term, the more I start to get anxious about the future.

Species: Grillicks

6ft when crouched and 7ft when completely upright. Grillicks have extremely powerful limb muscles that allow them to jump from branch to branch in the jungle. Their slippery skin is patterned green and blue that disguises them in the jungle. They are humanoid with two legs and two arms but with a very large frog like body. They eat almost anything, but their sharp teeth and insatiable hunger suggests they would much rather eat meat than plants.

They have quite a rudimentary intelligence. But there natural skill at ambushing as well their massive strength and in depth understanding of nature magic means they are formidable foes.

They are hatched in large batches of 20 small eggs. When the small Grillicks grow big enough they will start to fight their brother and sisters, quite a few Grillick die from this, but it means the weak are weeded from the strong. At the end there will be on average 10 left but this changes dramatically, depending on the parents.

Once they are a few years old. The Young Grillicks have a massive growth spurt in which they go from 1 foot tall to 5 feet. This lasts a whole month, and leaves them wracked with pain as their whole body massively expands. During this time the tribe will work hard to feed the growth of the Grillicks.

An average Grillicks lives for 30 years. But they can live up to twice that age.

They all have at the least rudimentary control of nature. But some special Grillicks can control many different kinds of magics.

Jungle

General: strong
Magic: normal
Leader: weak

I don't mind swapping magic and leader but my vote is on a strong general.

Species: Craxis

These are swarm, insect like creatures with multiple long elongated sword appendages. These are unsuited for delicate work but efficient at hacking and cutting. The only creature suited to craftmanship work are the queens.

This is just a idea. Another of my team mates can add to it or completely change it.

I hadn't finished yet and was planning to write a lot more. Also don't assume I'm making excuses. Originally I just wanted someone to read it, give me some feedback and if they found mistakes when they were reading then too point them out. Now I'm having an argument on the Internet with some random guy about being helpful or something.

Edit: The links are genuinely extremely helpful. Thanks.l

Double Edit: Re read through the next day and I think I severely misread your advice. And I am sorry I was such an asshat.

Well it's a work in progress. And I posted because I wanted advice to see if it was any good.

And as I said. Just pointing out that I made punctuation mistakes doesn't really help me much. Especially when I myself am not the best at using punctuation properly. So no matter how much I look over it I won't see it because I don't know it's a mistake.
