"Oh bear, oh bear, please teach the wildlife to spread cacti. They are a sign of good hope and of defensive strength. If you manage to upraise the raising of cacti, I shall grant you the strength of the cactus."
+1"Cacti give us strength!"
Alright, +1. I guess we could skim tiny amounts of Cactus energy every so often or something.

The Light shall create a landmark made up of gigantic diamonds that reflect light, be it moon or sun, kilometers apart, in many different colours. It should be surrounded by a gigantic lake. Call this Landmark the Multiprism of Divine Light.

On a different note my friends, I propose we should create the climate  on our two worlds, one very balanced. The other extremely harsh (very hot, very cold).
(The Light: -4 Essence)

The Light creates a ring of enormous diamonds that reflect and refract sunlight and moonlight in interesting patterns surrounded by a freshwater sea. Should any mortals encounter it, it is likely they will quickly interpret the shifting patterns and colors as revealing the future whether they actually do this or not.

What? You can't just go around draining our host's energy and expect us not to have something to say about it! I say we try communicating with the devices again and see what happens.

Frostbeard: "Ice knowing you. It's been cool."

Frostbeard: Stand next to door frame in main room and try absorbing as much heat from the air as possible.

Tick 05.5: Developing dimensions

The gods have begun to have some preliminary talk of exactly what to create to meet the 3 million sapients quota. Kli creates a multitude of giant silver and blue-chested hummingbirds and tasks them with guarding the Trees of Balance and maintaining balance. Not much actually happens this half-tick (perhaps aside from fixing numerous errors in Tick 05).

The following player has been marked inactive for voting purposes: IronyOwl/Valkiss
If you have been marked inactive and would like to become active again, simply post and you will be marked active again (for voting purposes). Inactivity does not mean being killed off and having your Essence redistributed (without a proposal for that).

(Kli: -2 Essence)

Flocks of giant silver and sky-blue chested hummingbirds emerge from the Trees of Balance, singing* songs of creation and praises to Kli. They sing of their devotion to maintaining balance before settling down a little and preparing to construct nests high in their respective Trees.

Quote
"Now, as for the 3 million, we are to sort them evenly between World A and B, right? I propose that we should all send one essence towards it, and for doing this we can design a specific part of the creature. For example, I send one essence towards it, and I decided to create the brain for it. Serac sends one essence, and decides to work on it's legs."
(It's a bit late for having the council do that. The council released control over the creation of 3 million sapients when the proposal passed. You will now have to decide on the specifics through discussion with the others. The only thing it can enforce is that you (pl.) do actually create at least 3 million sapients and not something like 5 million humanoid statues made of jelly rools with council resources.)

*(Real life hummingbirds do not work that way.)

I figured giving specific numbers would lead to nitpicking over slightly inconsistent prices and maybe even metagaming, so I just rounded off. This is a summary of what it means:
Low 137-138: The actual value is closer to 137
High 137-138: The actual value is closer to 138

Of course, nothing stops you from doing analyses on the numbers and combinations I've price-checked to try to derive the original value, but at least it's no longer trivial.

A pocket dimension with gateways on each moon, perhaps?
The gateways will be trivial (in cost). The bulk of the cost is in the pocket dimension. (Spirit: Low 6-7, Corporeal: High 8-9)

$$$Response
$$$

How much would it cost to take a member of a race and make them your prophet? The prophet will be capable of granting minor miracles and greater ones when invoking me. Would the essence cost be decreased if the prophet is already particularly devout? What if the prophet can perform magic?
That depends on exactly what kind of prophet you mean.
Case 1: Just the title of Prophet, magically signed and notarized by you: 0
Case 2: The title of Prophet and a boost to persuasiveness and devotion and maybe foresight: 1
Case 3: The title of Prophet and a boost to persuasiveness and devotion and maybe foresight and improved divine magic: Low 1-2

Important to 2-sphere (no pun intended) gods: I forgot to add your second spheres at the tick update. They should be there now.

Doll-Frostbeard: "Ice to meet you, un-doll at the back of the room! What's your name?"

"I am cornumdrum." Cornumdrum says.
"Rime meant the weird thing at the far end of the room," Frostbeard states coldly.

"((Not a proposal, merely a discussion. Since we already decided on creating them, any god could technically throw in some personal touch without the Council.))
(This is pretty much how passed but not executed works. The council releases control over what the proposal governs to discussion.)

Minio-on are large horde of ant like creature that protect their queen, each hive have about 700-800 member and one queen who controls them all. There always two more princess in the hive, one to take over if the queen died and another to go and make new colony, when the queen died the colony is split between the princesses. They are all mentally connected to each other and the queen can see though her minions eye. They have basic social structure with a few castes. ((Generaly like DF antmen.))
(Varee: -3 Essence)

Finally and very importantly, the simultaneous creation of 3 million assorted humanoids will theoretically cost a total of Low 5-6. In practice, it will cost Low 0-1 for all participants.

3551
Tick 05: Continued creation

The gods continue with their creations in spite of (or perhaps, because of the whispers from the Void. Some notice a small source of eldritch energy emanating from the corporeal dimension, but none profess to know the reason for its existence. A proposal for creating 3 million humanoids has passed (but is not yet executed), The Light has created the Luminees, a humanoid race with USB-level cross-breeding capabilities, Varee deploys hordes of giant ants on both worlds, Grauel has created the Gruen, and Khaziraad forms 300 golems.

In other news, Artisanii's library has been transported into orbit around a currently unspecified planet. Also, Serac has initiated the construction of a pantheon in his Beings' first settlement, and most mortals are aware of the concept of weapons.

(They collectively are sapient, I guess. Just write some fluff for them and we will know.)

3552
A non-idiot is a non-trivial threat whichever side said non-idiot is on. Actually, I guess I am starting to contradict stuff from earlier, although a bunch of the answers really depended on mood more than proper logic. Of course, it would be nice to fix all the idiots (or lynch them, as you seem to want), but based only on what I know, they are just as likely to be x (where x is either town or scum).

3553
Someone who is contributing is more likely to actually kill people (and not, for example miss the deadline however it is nightkills work). I consider the train wreck of miscommunication and blunders coming from my end to be the mark of a typical idiot.

3554
(Artisanii: -1 Essence)
The Artisanii move the Library into a 2:1 orbit with the current moon around [an unspecified planet].

The council releases 4 Essence back to Artisanii pending significant complaint.

3555
I feel it would be in my own best interest (and also that of the town) if we lynched a non-idiot.
