According to the wiki, FBs fight eachother normally, no matter how much space or secretions there are.

forgotten beasts are hostile toward each other and will attack any wildlife or civilized creature they may encounter - but with careful micromanagement, the opportunities are limitless.

Remove the entity raws. Easy. Don't worry about biomes or whatever. That's just unnecessary complications.

The whole point is to be able to play as them. Removing the entity raws wouldn't allow you to play as them.

in my latest game, my adventurer had a buddy, a dwarven necromancer. it was all fun and games for a while, the necro never actually raised anything, until we slew a troglodyte in his lair. He raised the troglodyte which then proceeded to kill us both. I tried to run, but there wasnt enough space to maneuver, and the thing was not exactly slow.

is it always like that right now, that raised undead have no loyalty towards their master? the troglodyte killed the necromancer first, right after being raised... I should go visit  tower on the next dventurer, that coul be fun.

I feel like it's probably only because he was allied with you, so when the zombie became hostile to you, it became hostile to the necromancer, and thus lost its allegiance with its master.

How exactly do you get to the FB Titan and Demon raws after generating a world? I know that TheFlame52 grabbed some demons from a genned world and stuck em into his mod, how would I go about doing it with FBs Titans and Demons?

They're in the world.dat in each save folder.  You can't use the tags associated with FB's, titans and demons but iirc, at least demons are generatable by using [UNDERGROUND_DEPTH:5:5] and [FLIER], which lets them swarm out of hell along with the generated demons. 

Titans are like overworld megabeasts, and presumably they would be simulated with actual megabeasts.

Do you mean the world.sav file? And is there something special you have to do to open it, cause when I open it through wordpad, it's ust a bunch of gibberish.

The world.dat needs to be uncompressed to see the raws.

How would you go about doing that?

It's the setting [COMPRESSED_SAVES:YES] in the /data/init/init.txt. To generate worlds with uncompressed saves, it should be switched to NO.

You can also view the raws (both compressed and uncompressed) with DFHack, though it's not out yet for the current version.

Thanks for the fast replies, but ugh, im getting 46 <<46>> fps now, idk why, my world size is "small", anyways when i pause the game or get to the main screen i get 100 <<80>> fps, (btw can someone explain me what the <<>> number is?)

I believe it's the graphical fps. Not sure what the difference is, but that's what it is.

Also, I'm thinking of arena combat...  Keep the Dwarves happy by letting them bet on their favorite  FB in the arena, then let them watch in horror at the eventual outcome!

Given this behavior, I wonder if logic around factions has been tinkered with...

Anyone game to try a Loyalty Cascade to see if these have changed any?

I think that they behave the same way. Whats the best way to start a loyalty cascade early on in the game?

I like to add a table (adjacent to the chair), so she can eat there without getting a bad thought about a lack of tables.

I've gotten to the point where I forget that offices don't require tables. I won't even make an office unless I have a table for it.

Ok, im getting 60-70 fps now, witch makes it playable, anyways i think it will get worse later, can anyone give me a few tips for getting better fps when i get 50+ dwarves?
Make sure to slaughter any and all excess animals. These can take a huge hit on FPS. Also, the less moving water the better.

You could add in the carnivore tag, o that they'll die out immediately.

it seems that my fortress may be doomed to die by bugs. quite sad, quite sad indeed. I will miss thee Zulban Azzinathel. I will miss thee. he was best warrior I ever had. :c not a single negative trait did he have. in the end he was killed by bugs. it was inevitable. rip zulban I'll forget you within a few days

Looking through the mists of time, I recalled a bug report that Bralbaard submitted a while ago, hoping the adventurer selection crash bug that causes us to have to find our old adventurers and bodyswap to them had been fixed for 0.40.

Looks like nothing has happened to that bug since though :(

IIRC, Today said that for the new release he didn't really purposely fix old bugs, so the only way to know if it's fixed is through practice.
