Definitely Direct Rule, since A. I don't want to be pirates and B. I want to be a micro-Imperium but intelligent and therefore successful.

Definitely thinking Nebula Sector, after all, high-risk, high-reward. Also it just sounds more interesting than "space equivalent of a bombed-out wasteland".

Hmm I’m going to go Chapter Master on this one. We are going into treacherous waters, it might be good to reinforce the idea of strong leadership. But I like both options.
+1, Chapter Master is probably better. Gives us a lot of benefits and, I mean, worse case, some random marine did something heroic in our predecessor chapter and got selected to lead/help lead the new one at the founding :P

I almost including a (less profane) version of the "cabal of wizards" line when describing why the Cursed Founding was arguably not such a great idea :P

Also, yes, +1 Xenophilia.

Oh no it's likely to get us horribly killed in really stupid ways but I'm still voting for the Cursed Founding despite the very possibly real curse.

CURSED FOUNDING CURSED FOUNDING CURSED FOUNDING
+1 because the Lamenters are clearly the greatest of the Space Marine chapters and we can be like them but perhaps not quite so prone to drive failures :P

SM1895b Torpedo
The SM1895 is a fine torpedo, or it would be if the designers hadn't made mistakes in every category of torpedo functionality. We've revamped the contact fuse to ensure that it detonates properly on contact, examined the depth-keeping system for bugs and fixed them, and finally we've worked to shave weight off the triple mount where possible, and where not we've just...built it properly? I mean, it's not like it's hitting some fundamental limitations on engineering or anything. It's an unarmored trio of low-pressure tubes on a post, on a turntable, after all. We can just build it as if it's meant to be a triple torpedo launcher that weighs as much as a triple torpedo launcher, and not a triple torpedo launcher that weighs as much as a double torpedo launcher or whatever the previous goal was.

At least the bugs are all relatively easy to fix, especially the weight problem.

Rilfar looked around at the dust still falling from the ceiling, and decided that now made a good time to make a break for it. Words might be rattling around in his skull, but those could wait. Probably.

The present takes priority. He reached up, and wrenched a bar out of the cell door. Not his preferred weapon, but a nice length of iron would still break whatever it was swung at, at least until he could get his trusty axe back from wherever they'd stashed it.

Tear a bar from the door, exit the cell, and head to the room with our stuff, retrieve mine.

The tattered remnants of Falkreath Hold, taken over by a family cousin thought long dead. Given the necromantic armies used in his campaign, his unusually long life, and reportedly pale complexion of his chief advisor, it seems he may have found himself some support amongst some surviving vampires, and might be one himself.

They must've missed the Epic time machine giveaway in the 2100s, how sad.

I think it's fair to say that A has won, hands-down, so I'm not going to add a votebox for it.

Infiltration, though, definitely needs one.

Tric might I recommend a spoiler so we don't have to scroll past the entire lengthy character sheet over and over again?

That's the plan behind setting fire to the feed for their livestock, it should sabotage how fast their army can move and might cripple their cavalry if we're lucky with it. It's almost certainly the best thing we can possibly sabotage successfully, if it works at all.

I don't know that we'd be able to realistically steal enough to matter? And the Runed Knights' equipment is probably too well defended, if they've even brought any of those suits (they probably have, to be fair).
