In this game you play defenders of a bunker filled with civilians defeat is assured the goal is to see how long you can hold out for.

I will leave the layout of the area vague for now to allow the players to set up there defence however they want to. all that is for certain is your in a building and underneath that building is a place filled with civilians to defend and that is the only below ground element there is also only 1 floor.

this is a non serious game so feel free to use some outlandish plans and what not however in the interests of simplicity no magic and no mechs small combat robotic suits are allowed but no larger then 1.5 times the size of the pilot also there is no source of power to run a railgun so none of those either but feel free to use meltas, plasma cannons, bio cannons,lasers etc

attacking force is armed with nothing but assault rifles, grenades and other basic items but has strength in numbers and the occasional tank

rules:
This rtd is about combat there is to be no socialisation or backstorys here theres no time for it each turn will represent 5-30 seconds approximately.
Who you are isn’t important your a generic soldier.
New players and respawns will be represented as civilians who decided to stand and fight.
New players can enter immediately but respawning will take a turn so that the enemy will have a chance to break through the opening they have created.

i will post the first turn after 7 people have joined or 2 hours has passed

edit: in hindsight i should have posted this when the u.s was awake

if the dice really like you you may be able to push back against the horde but one slip up at that point is almost certain doom

Cool, I tried to find something like that first, but failed.  Maybe it should be stickied?

what really needs to happen is for toady to go back in time and choose forum software with a decent search functiom

You still have a lot of prime left as an academic, polyglot, translator, writer, mathematician, teacher and general mind-oriented badass. Like, 30+ years of prime left. And after that, you'll still be an incredibly talented person with a lot of knowledge to pass on and people will tell stories about how gorram incredible you are. Not were, are.

I don't know how to say this without sounding whiny, but my prime is past as an athlete, and I'm very jealous about how long you'll be able to do what you love and what you're good at.

im sad that i left starting my prime so late im 18 god dam years old and am only just starting to seek employment

make my way towards dan rogers kicking arse on the way when i find him have him fix me up if possible stay in the mech and fire at any incoming enemys as he works
