I've been here for three. That is to say, since I was eleven. Holy shit I'm glad I didn't say anything too stupid. That said, I encourage people to avoid my earlier posts. I'll probably be saying the same thing a couple of years down the line about present me, assuming I'm still on the forums.
Think back to your younger self and realize that said younger self was probably thinking 'man, I'm going to look back at this in the future and think 'what a dumbass".
Then realize you were a smart dumbass.
At least that's what I did.
smart dumbasses are best dumbasses

Thanks.

As for the incident in question i will admit i did act a bit strongly but the basis of it was i made a statement to show how silly i thought a position was and people took it to be an attack on the person which if read literally it was i guess.
man snipping pyramids is hard i really should learn the details of the quote structure

* Tiruin nudges tuypo1 hard.
Don't generalize :I Bring up details if you're to redirect understanding (rather than a general idea).
Also I challenge thee, use punctuation! :D
C'mon. First steps! Do it. :D
Details ok so i dont make an arse out of myself could you confirm you mean details on the opinions i dont respect.

It's my first forum! :D
I'm pretty glad at the time I joined, I got to see the ol' vets, as said by Furtuka. It really nudged my understanding in many details, general or specific.
> Helped me with my fears, and personal stuffs. The people I met here are awesome.
Loved the community there. Now's a bit different [new faces = new attitudes, not all but y'know] but still--the moderation is as best as ever! \o/

My first forum was the world of warcraft forums but i obviously left those when i stopped playing sometimes i consider going back just for the forums the only reason i stopped playing to begin with was that my copy got corrupted and i didn't have the bandwidth to re-download it.

i quite like you guys sure you have your flaws mostly related to your obsession with arguing the right way and been unable to tell the difference between an ad hominim and a figure of speech used for persuasive purposes.

i do like that you don't seem to have succumbed to respect everybody's opinions though for me there are some things on which i can respect opinions that differ from mine but some opinions i have no respect for.

The real reason it starts in August/September is because it marks the end of Summer farmwork, which was crucial in getting children to actually attend public school when farmers were a large portion of the population. Even now, there is still a problem of poorer children not going to school because they have to work for their family in some capacity.

There are Year-Round schools which do away with Summer vacation entirely in favor of evenly distributed vacation weeks, but this system has thus far proven terminally unpopular.
unpopular yes but it works better then a long arse single vacation

Nah... I don't really think it was the argument itself. Iirc, Gryph had expressed dislike for B12's guidelines in the past before, especially re: personal attacks. Seemed to have trouble in general about refraining from making, well. Posts like the one before deciding to leave. Guessing G finally decided hanging around wasn't worth staying within the general rule set, and moved on. Which... best of luck, et al. Said my peace already, I guess.
if I wasent so drawn in by the forum games I probably would have left by now for similar reasons only about the sexual content rules rather then the personal attack rules

I got to level... 70something? Played it for like 6 hours in a row one time.

We should collaborate to make a dorfier MMO, with dorf fortress themed lore, weaponry, and the like. That'd show them.
it would just be a dwarf fortress clone

end sarcasem

Roommate has a guest over. I predict this is a night of interrupted sleep, seeing as I can hear his bed springs above my head while he flops around at night, and even when he sighs really loud at insomnia.
go out all night have some fun theres all sorts of things you can do at night you could go laugh at the sort of people that go to nightclubs
