Over the last week, I got four pairs of pants, five shirts, and some shoes. I will no longer have to make do with three, six, and one, respectively, as I did for some time.
Why would you need more then 1 pair of shoes
sports shoes, casual shoes, crossdressing shoes, hiking shoes, facestabbing cleats, lots of reasons. You should see my roommate's collection of shoes. Dude has the most shoes I've seen a guy have.
Yup, dress shoes in my case. To go to anything particularly classy I had to steal my dads', and that couldn't go on forever.
i have 2 modes of dress
dont care what i wear as long as its practical and holy shit mega fancy wow
the first one i always wear boots as in work boots, pants and a shirt mostly i like to cover up
for holy shit mega fancy wow i go full on white dinner suit bowler hat bow tie and dress shoes

Charter's free upgrade is the real deal. Holy crap.

Looks like the elf's also killed some zombie's (Probably another road crew) Look at the ground around where they start those three red things. Also the road seems to be getting paved in three directions look up at the top of the image so could that mean there's another zombie road crew around? That also mean the paving was started really close by. And leaves the question as to why is was started at the intersection?
hm i had noticed the other corpses where they started but i dident notice the paving or its significance

I am pretty sure that I am about to have a legendarily bad day. It has started very, very poorly already, and shows no signs of improving.

Didn't sleep? Check. SI bailing on me? Check. Waking up to a houseful of people? Check. Routine all fucked up? Check. About to go in for an especially long shift at work? Check.

* Hans sighs.

Well, let's do this, eh?
Good luck Hans I wish you all the best
Seconded. Also, holy crap tuypo1 used capital letters.

My computer is just a little bit too weak to run Perfect Dark via 1964 and Bandicam at the same time at full speed, and the janky, jittery game audio is very distracting even at low volume underneath my voice. So, no Perfect Dark let's play until the far distant future when I have a decent computer. And PD is literally the only game I have all sorts of interesting things to share about, off the top of my head.
that is indeed sad

I'm still confused as to how the purge law even got passed in the first place. Why would anyone want it? How does it help anyone?

The Purge was likely passed in a time of great economic turmoil with a high homelessness rate.

The implication the movie has is that the Purge's explanation is an excuse, what it REALLY is there for is to get rid of the excess population.

As well the movie indicates that the US has a different government and philosophy then we do as well.

Which is a fine... They could have given that, and stopped and it would be fine... But holy cow do they keep poking and poking and poking holes into that premise.
yeah some people need to learn that if you try to explain a silly premise it just highlights how silly it is

UGH! I can't get over "The Purge"

Usually when movies have a difficult to support premise they avoid poking holes in it... Yet the movie does almost nothing but prove exactly why the premise doesn't work even in the established universe.

Which would be fine except... they did it a LOT!

But I do have a question for those who watched it: What stopped people from burning people's houses down and doing extensive property damage? Is this just a world where everyone is excessively polite?

Also what are class 5 weaponry? and how the heck is that enforceable in a situation where there are no laws?

And did they mention that houses have been extensively fire proofed? And why don't people just go into bomb shelters? Those are much safer than houses with reinforced doors.

DANG IT THE PURGE!!! Stop poking holes in your own premise you literally could have avoided it! You didn't have to!

Also doesn't having a super low unemployment rate also cause problems? or was it created because now everyone works for peanuts so factories can now have unsafe working environments with people crammed in there because otherwise they will have problems protecting themselves during the purge.
similer mistake as lucy in lucy they tried to explain the powers and ended up alienating anybody with half a brain

There's so much bullshit anti-PETA stuff on the internet.

PETA is terrible, don't get me wrong, but you don't need to twist the truth to make them look bad. Nobody cares because people love anything that bashes on PETA regardless of whether it reflects reality. The worse you make them look, the more popular your article/list/video/whatever will be.

It is kind of hard when they do so much to deserve the hate directed at them.

But to be truthful it isn't like they are Green Peace who actually participated in eco-terrorism. (unless their names have been cleared)

They just specifically targeted people and assaulted them. (and honestly this STILL isn't what I dislike them for... That was just some morons that I bet PETA never publically endorsed)

But can you give me an example of an article that says something that PETA didn't do?
indeed green peace are nothing but thugs

That was made months ago.

And I have to rework it.
