Anyway, did a thing when I should be reading a thing for college. No regrets. started as a lineart practice sketch based on a reference screenshot from an anime. Became an experiment in grayscale painting. All gray shading was done with a single gray tone and copious use of layering, shading layers, and watercolor brush mode and erasing.Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Line art could be cleaner. Eh. Really should have been reading instead of doing this anyway.

Virtues: Hiding in the shadows: He is hard to spot when in anywhere where it is dark.
Drawbacks: Inattentive: he has a tendency not to notice potentially dangerous things until they are very near to him.
