Honestly, I've always thought that bolts and ranged attacks in general were quite realistic in damage, it's just how creatures use them, like how you can be shot by a kobold about 2 screens away without you ever realizing where it's come from before 14 more have hit you.


Damage is alright, speed and amount fired in 3.2 seconds need to be nerfed. Like maybe a warning "Shlarkusmusgdfharl shoots a +copper arrow+ at you"

and then you get hit by the arrow in 1 turn or so, instead of it being a guessing game of when a bowman will show up and start impaling you.
