You are Sargon of Akkad, the first king of the Akkadians, and you are nearing the end of your life. You feel Death inching closer and closer, and your old, frail body feels on the verge of collapse with every single breath you manage to steal for yourself, prolonging the inevitable one moment at a time.

Even if you weren't on the verge of death, you know your weakness is beginning to show, and that means one thing. Those in your court are growing ever eager for your death, and they're making moves to ensure it occurs sooner than later. Your son is eager for the throne, and your advisers and guards have begun to disappear, to be replaced with strangers that your subjects assure are trustworthy and loyal. Things are changing, and deep in your head, you know your end is coming.

You are asleep in your grand quarters, and your paranoia began to subside enough to allow you to sleep. Before you close your eyes for your possible final rest, you see a winged shadow hovering above you. Anxiety and fear grow in your heart, which prevents you from drifting into the slumber you so desire.

Way to play: Discord, primarily voice chat. May use text to describe scenery or actions.

The Rules/Characters playable: Apocalypse World/Official Playbooks only, all allowed. Every Playbook is unique, only one of its kind may be picked, and once it dies, it is permanently removed from play. We will learn who plays who in session zero, but you will each pick two, to act as a second life and possibly second character, if your first character lives that long. Playbooks not picked will be used by me as Antagonists.

Setting: New York CSA, Modern Day:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_metropolitan_area

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rikers_Island
You begin in Rikers Island, either as an inmate, guard, or other civilian employee. An ominous fog covers the island, along with the entire CSA, at exactly midnight of Friday the Thirteenth. All communication outside of the CSA is disconnected, and you are all isolated. It will be like this for 14 months, until the next Friday the Thirteenth. During this time, you'll face hostile people, insanity, and monsters straight from Silent Hill, along with the Omniscient and well dressed Master of Ceremonies, who will make it his job to challenge you, and to provide himself with entertainment as you fight to stay alive. It'll be a long year, so good luck!

Schedule: we play once a week in the morning, possible days: Mon-Fri. Possible times: 7 AM-3 PM, US Central Standard Time. Occasional intermissions because I'll need to take dogs out occasionally.

As the title says.

I remember playing Adventure mode awhile ago, and I loved playing as someone who roamed the countryside and beat everything to a pulp with my bare hands. How do I mod myself to become a true god of punching? I was weak, for obvious reasons, what can I use to tweak the numbers to make him stronger?

See you later!

Roll To Dodge / T_Virus.zip: Set-Up
« on: February 23, 2016, 01:15:36 pm »
In the future of 2057, an epidemic is ravaging Singapore

Singapore, The Lion City, is the diamond of Malaysia. Life here is a paradise of wealth and luxury, and technology has progressed astronomically. Reality and The Web are inseparable now, and cybernetic augments are widely available to anyone who desires them. All one requires is a simple nanite injection, and a whole world of opportunity opens up. Yes, opportunity... And Horror

The T_Virus has been spreading throughout this grand city, created by none other than the vile purist group TROLL.It corrupts and breaks down the technology we hold dear to us, and within us. What's worse, those infected turn rabid, attempting to spread the plague though the Web, or through virulent hacking, if need be. Such a malicious virus must be stomped out before it is allowed to go world-wide, and that, is where you come in.

As an Exterminator, your job is to protect our way of life, by cleaning up all traces of the T_Virus, and Exterminate the Trolls. Now go forth, Exterminator, and ensure a brighter future, in technology.

Roll To Dodge / RTDs of Horror: Anthology OOC
« on: February 20, 2016, 10:21:21 pm »
If you've ever watched shows like The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits or American Horror Story, these are Anthologies. Anthologies are Shows with episodes that, while unconnected, have a central running theme. American Horror Story is different in that the stories run Seasons, rather the episodes, but the premise is the same. RTD of Horror is an Anthology series of games that all share the same theme of brutal horror and much death. Have fun.

RTD "Episodes" currently running:
24 Hours of Evil- Try and Survive against the Eldritch Assault.
T_virus.zip-Hunt down Cyber-Zombies, and end the terror of the Trolls.

Episodes Completed:
None yet

Welcome to Rikers Island.
Rikers Island, New York- World's Largest Penal Colony: a 413 acre island located off the border of the Bronx and Queens, it holds on average 10,000 inmates of all kinds, to minor offenders serving a year or less and juveniles, to serious crime offenders pending transfer, and the criminally insane. a staff of 9,000 officers and 1,500 civilians work to keep the inmates in check and the establishment in order, and along with 10 separate jails, there are other such things as schools, barber shops, and gyms, making this correctional facility something of a small town. With only a single bridge connecting to Queens, there are few other ways to enter and exit.

It is now Friday the Thirteenth. The horrors of another dimension have begun their hunt. THE NIGHTMARE HAS BEGUN.

Broforce will be releasing on PS+ on the PS4 during March, at which time it is free. It is a pixelated side-scrolling shoot-em-up where you play as famous action stars from various films set mostly around the 80s-90s. I will be looking for three complete strangers to join me in the slaughter.

As a complete newb who has never played it, this will be my first time playing it. I go under the PS ID Bnegative.

Here's a review to show you how it plays

I'd like to run a full campaign, which is 15 areas with about 5 or so levels, with the final area being about 2-3 times as long, as far as I know.

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Fantasy Land #9001

A build your own fantasy land game, and hopefully a map for a fantasy nation strategy game. To start simply detail an interesting locale or person.

The Land of Yheasimir. Sandwiched between a ridge of tall mountains and the coast of the ocean, and an expansive desert to the south, this temperate country is well protected across most borders, with the only opening being to the north, a bridge of land 10 miles wide, situated over a river which pours into a cave within the mountain.

Roll To Dodge / Roll to Suck: Unlimited Vampires Allowed
« on: February 03, 2016, 01:48:44 pm »
You are a Vampire, hiding in some cave in a mountain, which overlooks a large town. It's a port town, and it has a nice, gentle breeze. You despise this breeze, it stings, worse than the sun you think. You see the townsfolk, all happy and cheery. This, needs to be fixed. It needs to be fixed so much, that not even Da Vinci could fix it. It's time, to expand the Vampire Dominion, and this will be your first claim. Yes, *Evil Laughter!*

Rolls: Standard D6, with Die Queue. The die queue holds 6 die in total, and you get three free picks, Max. Using a free pick consumes the free pick and the dice, leaving you with one less, until you feed. You may combine two dice, for an especially supernatural effect.

Vampire Castes:

The Royals: The most human-like and domineering of the Vampires. They are gifted with great physical ability and psychic powers, to bend others to their will, as it should naturally be. However, they are not used to getting hit much, and may go into a frenzy if their perfect image is ruined.

The Blood Drunk: These Vampires love blood, a lot. They simply can't get enough of it. They are at their best when drenched in blood, which unfortunately doesn't help with their image, or their sanity. Once they start killing, they have a hard time not killing, and when they aren't covered in red, their some of the weaker Vampires out their, barely able to kill even a simple farmer's boy.

The Voidlings: The shadows are their home, and the cold is their comfort zone. They specialize in navigating through the shadows, and bending it to their will. These cold blooded monsters are quite empty inside, however, and very hungry. So hungry in fact, that they devour everything whole, blood and soul.

The Sick: Racked in illness of all shape and form, these sad creatures have learned well how to pass a myriad of affliction to others. Horrible deformity and psychosis impedes these figures in all endeavors.

The Liches: Those who have fully embraced their deathly nature, they have gained the ability to control those who have since passed away. Hardly anything affects them, save the sun, but their advance is quite slow, a zombie-like shamble.

The Dragons: Scaled, scarred, and burned from their trials by sun and water, these night-kin have regained abilities once thought long gone. Able to brave the sun and deep water for extended periods of time, this has also given them the ability to wield fire, and a layer of thick scale. They look anything but human however, and these Sun-Walkers are blind, only guide by a superior sense of smell and hearing.
