It is 10,000 BC in the Fertile Crescent, and a tribe begins to slumber in the coming eve of the plains. They speak their condolences and good-wills, and set up to visit the Dreamlands, where they may commune freely with the spirits of otherside. All was good, and all was quiet. Then, out of the sky sun-setting, a star streaks across, and strikes the earth, sending parts flying off in an arc. The nearby thoom awakens the poor primitives, and the stumble from their huts, alert and on edge.

Then came, from the horizon, a man, with hair ablaze. He walks calmly, and steadily, towards startled people, intent on his unknown purpose, and stomping forward proudly, no fear whatsoever in his feet. He drags alongside him, a massive beast. Yes, massive indeed. It was a dinosaur, no, the King of Dinosaurs! Burnt and smoking, it was a sight to behold. There it is, the Predator King, limp and dead, and medium rare at that.

As the man came closer, he was indeed magnificent, and giant. He stood tall, twice the tallest man in the village, to be exact. His massive, powerful body was toned like that of bronze, and clothed with none other than the skin of dinosaurs, and lions. What was most special of him, however, was his hair and eyes. His mane of a beard and hair was lit aflame, but it never grew ashen, or smoked. It burned the many shades of the flame, changing shade in a hypnotic show, and his eyes, were like the sun itself.

"Greetings, little folk! I am Ra, the Son of the Sun Above! I come here, bearing a gift of a feast, and to tell you great news. I have decided to choose you to be my people, or better yet, my children. I adopt you, and I shall guide you to glory. The age of Heroes has come, young ones! Rejoice!, for great times, come forward, beyond the horizon!"

And thus, the Ra-Man people were born

Roll To Dodge / Pirates of a Baroque Future: Centralia
« on: January 08, 2016, 12:06:40 pm »
It is *1764 in a time where the Library of Alexandria was never lost to the savage actions of the Romans. Humanity is an orphaned race, having long since been separated when, a couple-hundred or so years ago, the warp gate that connected Humanity's Milky Way Galaxy to the Meritocrats' Penzance Galaxy was destroyed in a ball of plasma, and communication to Earth and its daughter colonies was completely lost. This fact has refused to keep you down, however. As a Pirate of Penzance, you relish the freedom you hold, sailing the dark seas of space, and acting upon your whim, and yours alone. What you choose to do, however, is up to you.
*Our Equivalent in Time: 2342

Greetings, and welcome to my Sci-Fi Piracy Sandbox game. as you see, the game technically takes place in the past, but under the assumption that technology would have progressed much further, if The Library of Alexandria never was burnt down by the Romans. Culturally, however, it is still considered Early Modern/Pirate Age. You can play as whoever you want, but I assume that a pirate would be the most enjoyable and easy to write for, so I wrote the introduction in that state of mind. I will write more lore into this game if it has enough interest, but it is a Sandbox game, so I will ultimately leave to you what you wish to happen, and give you the freedom to generate whatever lore you desire, provided it is not based in the Milky Way Galaxy. I have a special plan for that place, that will change the world, and the game dramatically. anyways, if you've read all of this, I hope you enjoy!

Standard D6. 1's and 6's will be followed by another roll, where 4 or more will transform it into something that is mostly beneficial to you. Only natural 1's and 6's count. The second roll can also get modifiers.

Roll To Dodge / Lunatic-Killers and Deadpan Detectives
« on: January 06, 2016, 10:24:25 am »
Concept: Killers are on the loose, killing anyone they please. It's the detectives' job to find those killers and stop them.

Basically, the player is either a Detective or Killer. The Detective(s) can be anything: a guard, a cop, some nosy punk, anyone as long as it fits the setting and whose main objective is finding the Killer(s), Who kill anyone unfortunate enough to be a target, possibly even other Killers. Detectives will post here on the board, while Killers PM me directly. There can only be as many Killers as there are Detectives.

As for rolls, I will be using the standard D6 scale, along with an extra roll for ones and sixes, to determine the extent of success/failure on Epic Fails and Overshots. Damage follows the Chucky Salsa Rule (PRAISE THE CHUNKS!!!), or in other words, no HP, and a headshot will most definitely KILL you!

In a cell of the high security Juaren Penitentiary, a murderer is soon to gain his freedom...

You stand as one of the newest inhabitants of one of the oldest, strongest prisons in history. Almost medieval in its architecture, the dark grey cells are pitch black, save for the flourescent torches of the heavily armed guards that walk by. As you sit in the shadows, You Contemplate on the historic murder you committed to be admitted to such a deep part of the Juaren.

(Basically, the setting is Quentin Tarentino does dystopian Cyberpunk, or if simpler, Quentin Tarentino's Assassin's Creed.)

Forum Games and Roleplaying / The Question of The Clones(SG)

A Question of the Clones
It is after World War 3, and the world has been left in ruins. As the world heals from the damage, a new complication arises... What to do with the clones. The dictator developed technology advanced enough to clone himself, and so he did. A whole nation of himself. This was how he died, actually, by "his" own hand.

Anyways, for now, the clones have been rounded up into walled cities, with cameras everywhere, and the question of what to do with them has since remained unanswered fir many years. Now however, a new problem has emerged. The clones are growing unstable, mutating and degenerating, and the general public is beginning to also grow weary of these clones, either disagreeing with their treatment, or worried about what they could turn into.

Tempers are hot, and the world the knife's edge. All hinges on a question. A Question of The Clones.

Forum Games and Roleplaying / Cancer Arms-A Drama of Living Weapondry (0/?)
« on: November 10, 2015, 04:43:30 pm »
Uses this game system.

The world is infested, and it doesn't know it yet.

Roswell, 1947. An alien spacecraft crashed land on the Earth. When the military searched the remains, all they found were short grey aliens in a little cockpit. What they didn't find, however, was the cargo they were carrying. You see, they were carrying... something weird. Whether it's a alien disease or an advanced weapon, the people who knew are dead now, so I guess we'll never know.

Lovenly nicknamed Cancer Arms, these things live usually as a sort of fungal slime... until you get to close. Once you get to close, they get scary! They grow bones, teeth, whatever those spiky things are, and jump at you. Once they get on you, it's usually game over. You turn into a malformed zombie with weapons. Like those Resi zombies, only more spiky and pussy, and holding a giant sword made out of bone, or a bone chainsaw. So more like Tyrants, I guess.

But, like I said, it's game over... usually. Sometimes, you don't turn into a zombie, but you get superpowers! Yeah, it still tries to take over you, but still, Superpowers! The weapons are pretty cool too. Anyways, there's the rundown on Cancer Arms! When you're done freaking out, we can have some fun! See ya when you're done!

Character Creation:
My Name is...
And I am...(Character Concept)

When did you first encounter a Cancer Arm, or one of its hosts?

What's your Cancer Arm's personality?

How have things been since you got one?

What mask do you wear?(How do you act in public?)

How are you like under the skin?(How are you really like, and how do you really think of things?)

How do you plan to move on from this issue?(What are your plans for the future?)

Cancer Arm: What sort of weapon does your Cancer Arm Emulate, and what makes it special(ex. A giant sword with extra spiky bits sticking around. Hands axes that are feverishly hot and burst into flames. A poisonous whip. Grenade cysts plucked from your back? Imaginations the limit.)

Cancer Talent:What natural human ability does it enhance? Things like extra strength or agility, or keener eyesight. Maybe greater ability to read others.

Alien Manifest: When you decide to really let loose and let your Cancer Arm do its thing, what sort of alien power surge from you? These are highly dangerous, use when you want to wreck EVERYONE'S day.
