Tombstone eyed the surrounding buildings. He knew who he was looking for.

This town ain't big enough for two death-themed gunslingers!

Challenge Ghost!

I'm buying the Rev 1875 (+10 Hit bonus) and assigning the 5 points to Hit as well.

Oh, and from now on I'll be saving up for a Rev 1892 (+20 Hit bonus, 20$) and after that a Cavalry Uniform (+2 max Wounds, +10 Evade bonus, 65$), jus t so you don't have to wait on me to choose next time.

(On a weird note, I finished my character sheet last night just before going to bed and ended up dreaming about this game. I can't remember much, except that one of my extra perks was called "End of Time" and another one replaced my Peashooter with a Lawnmower.)

I think votes in this setup are essentially dayvig kills

U, Robot - a nightless setup for 5-7 players with an informed majority of scum.

Roles:
  • 2 Humans - win when all robots are lynched
  • 3-5 Robots - win when one human is dead, share a scumchat

Nightless, one vote to lynch, but robots may not vote for humans. If 72 hours pass without a lynch, the robots win. Essentially, the robots need to convince one human to lynch the other, while humans need to kill all the robots.

This setup works well in person, but humans usually win since knowing that the robots can't lynch humans is very helpful for scumhunting. I think it might be more balanced on forums when the robots have a scumchat - coordinating buses is super important for good robot play.

This is a cool setup. I'll have to check this one out in-person.

We should each program a bot and have the bots play against each other in a game of mafia.
That sounds super awesome.

Where do you guys think we'd run it? I imagine it should be somewhere that lets bots post really fast so that games can finish quickly. Bay12 and Quicktopic both have an anti-spam feature, though.

A breathless stillness in the air
Hangs over him whose standing there,
And settles on the tranquil pond
that stretches to the hills beyond.

But when the sunlight mounts that crest,
and wakes the valley from its rest,
The silent curtain will be gone,
to leave just me, the pond, the dawn.

Tuna Steaks
After unpackaging them, I prepare
Each side with some pepper and salt,
Next, with four hundred degrees (and a prayer)
I lock them away in the vault.
Call me a pro if they're medium-rare.
(If not, then it isn't my fault!)

Incredibly busy with my doctorate! Which is why I've not been engaging much with this. But I've been enjoying reading everyone's poems.
What are you studying?

It's quite the thrill!
I scarcely glance away
and three have struck.

The speed - the skill!
But, jealous, you just say
"It's only luck."

Think what you will;
I've seen them forge their way
when they were stuck.

While you are still
content to simply stay
beneath the muck.

Welcome back, Dwarfy. How have you been?

The Estate

In the shadows of the wood,
land I thought I understood,
world of my childhood,
lurks a secret darkness
long sequestered
in that carcass where it festered
on the beautiful and good.

Walk the roads I've walked before,
Through the underbrush explore,
Scour for it shore-to-shore,
till it's been uprooted
- long, uncoiled -
from polluted earth it soiled,
stripped away to plague no more.
