I have an idea. I have no idea whether or not it's good or bad, so here it is.

when a egg hatches, the larvae should slowly grow into an adult wasp. if they haven't infected something by that time, it will grow to be a worker. If it was given a host then it would grow to be a soldier caste, because it ate better than the workers did. Unfertilised larvae should grow to be drones instead of dying because of having no host. Fertilised larvae given royal jelly (how do you do that BTW) would grow to be a queen if given a host

This is based loosely off this

What do you guys think? should we do a poll? it allows for faster breeding, as well as better population control

It's so we actually have stuff to do in the game. We could find out from a captured officer where the prisoners are kept and attempt a rescue. Also sending 200 marines to attack a fortified compound defended by ~400 terrorists is never a good idea. They're more of a sacrifice so the elite (us) can move in. Also you need to choose a color that's not already on the map, copy the map into a drawing program and re-submit the map with your landing position marked in your color. I'm red, my RL friend is orange, now you need to choose a color for your team, also a name


NINJA'd Rolep. Yes. yes they did. To enable a more effective force to follow up when they're repairing. The drop pods are going to cause major damage to the compound, and we strike when they are not prepared. The marines eliminated ~100 terrorists before they were killed or captured. Adds another objective to the game to save captured friendlies.

E: GUNIN, we get to choose where abouts at the edge of the map we start. 5 kilometers is roughly where me and my RL friend dropped


E#2: also, the compound has been scaled up on that map so we can see the basic defense system

On a similar note, an army could send a detachment to harass/attack a fortress as it is growing, before it turns into a unbreakable bastion, after all, even goblins should learn from past mistakes, if the world has a long history

YOU CANNOT DROP ON TOP OF STUFF. you drop into the forest, camp (no fires) for two days (skipped time for game purposes) and then move in. you land at the same time as the marines so that the terrorists don't know you're there. If another sixty-odd troops dropped two days later, the terrorists would know that another wave is coming, but if you drop with the marines, and then the marines are slaughtered, then the terrorists have no idea that another sixty-odd troops are hiding in the forest, waiting until they're rebuilding to strike.

I am currently making a mod to have all animals tamable and trainable, minus sentients. Is there any way to do this quickly or has it already been done?

I think it's just my playing style. Plus a bugged game where:
a)Animals never enter the map. EVER. Except with dfhack forcing them, and they only appear underground.
b)Migrant waves will only ever spawn one migrant per wave, even with forcing

It's the game not the save file. I deleted it and havn't played orcs since, being too focused on Wasps. I fixed the issue with a clean install. Errorlog wasn't giving me anything either.

I managed to get a siege by using dfhack. it spawned a single elf archer that decimated my fort.

I am going to play orcs a little bit now. MORE DAKKA. Any suggestions on how to have an interesting game.

Don't even need to;

I want to drop onto the flak tower.

Directly onto it.

If we have drop pods atrong enough to be, well, drop pods, we have drop pods strong enough to smash a flak tower/survive getting hit by a little flak.

It seems I need to re-do the OP. I'm gunna do a backstory as well
