I get the feeling that the edginess and bad voicing was intentional.

Nanotrasen Department of Truth

Everyone is shooting everyone outside our windows in space. Why the fuck are Finance and the Navy shooting eachother? WHY DO WE ALWAYS HAVE TO BE THE SANE ONES? And since when did Finance get navy ships? I mean seriously, they're money grubbing cheapstakes. How did they manage to buy ships?

Department of Finance: Afteraction report

I write this with anger clouding my judgement. Those filth.. Those filthy crewmen ANIMALS and those damned Navalmen! I arrived only to be insulted by the sight of that useless IAA agent, Hannah Moon. She was making worthless excuses the entire time I was there and undermining me in front of heads of staff and the blueshield. Then, the engine was never set up. Phoron was never cleaned. Medicine was never made. This station REFUSED to work. As annoying as Hannah was, she was worth keeping for re-education. I took the HoP and Blueshield and her with me back to Finance command and sent the Asset Protection teams.

But no, NO. The Navy butted in, into my business! They refused to call off their strike team, so I did the reasonable, grown-up thing to do. I ordered my men to murder those useless bastards. By the end of it, the station was little more than ash, but I lost six of my finest men and a marauder. And worse, General Autumn escaped. I have my men searching for him now, I will find him. And I will kill him.

Off notes: Clean arrivals, my men used ballistics to kill the surviving crew that escaped to Centcomm. Search for the one crewman who escaped the station through space, Jamie something.

Thats your bigger problem. Try playing instead of immediately going "ew extended nothing will happen" because extended thus far has been making better antags, better rounds and better everything than the actual rounds its meant for.

I'm still unsure if this is a good or bad thing.

Says you, but I personally lost attention every time I came back to observe.

Thats your problem right there.

Extended: Two Three supermatters going off, half the crew dead, other half fighting in the halls in open mutiny, drug rings created and fighting eachother for land while Centcomm attempts to support security against the endless waves of rogue crew, communist rioters, and drug lords.

That was boring.

Told you Corai greenlighted griffons in extended.

I'm a lot more lax about grief on extended. I'd normally ban people if they escalated a department feud into open fighting killing, but in extended i'd let it slide. Same for this drug war, normally people would be talked to for it.

We're having a drug war in extended right now.

If either of you kills anyone else, this should be played as Traitor. Because it's technically griff. Which, my point exactly, you've made your own antags.

Yeah. Thats what extended is for on Urist for all intents and purposes. Letting the crew destroy/build itself.

The existence of people who believe Extended is a fun gamemode on Urist does not cease to inspire marvel and awe in me at the thought of the weirdness of human psyche.

It keeps getting 10+ votes

If i'm on and aren't half asleep, I would totally get ghosts and spawn them as Centcomm people for a trial. Send a shuttle, load everyone on. Trial at Centcomm with on the spot executions for anyone who talks out of turn...

Damian is living proof not a single person on Urist listens to anything admins say, even other admins. And especially when its coming from me.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Better idea! Nerf/revamp ling so it doesn't suck. Do the same with Ninja. Win.

One is made specifically for murderboning and has proved time and time again it cannot be fixed. The other has code so bad it took a year for someone to rewrite it and even then it still is code cancer, and with over half of its abilities disabled can still wipe out the entire station alone.

Nah, it's up.

Speaking of, I learned that the captain was not a traitor that round.

Which brings me to a proposal: with the amount of lolrandom Security executions lately, I would suggest a rule patch - executions have to be cleared with CentComm. Now that faxes are available, there's a valid IC way of doing that, and admins are present often enough that it shouldn't be a problem - and even if they aren't, permabrigging definitely should suffice. If the prisoner breaks a window and dies of suffocation, it's on them.

:+1:

I'm going to change it so that the shuttle only hangs around on-station for a bit before automatically heading back. Besides that, it seems to be pretty good so far. Also, scrdest, there was an issue with vampire bats attacking the vampire, just a heads up.
snip

Every time i've seen bats spawn, they turn on the vampire instantly. I haven't seen bats do anything but kill vampires so far.
