You can do it by scripting, but it is not possible in the interface.

Statues should have descriptions, and idols should too (perhaps related to a god?)
This would be awesome for theme statues garden ...

More Detailed Religion
Perhaps with worship objects? Idols? :)

Export of some symbols, or a text file with offsets, for third party tools.

I would be happy to hear about quirks, especially if it's from somebody who already had fixed them :)

Map offsets are off, I noticed that not so long ago, but it's not fixed yet. I'll try for next version (and the zoom will be back).

I had the luck to play a beta at ESWC France, and the animations are really funny. It's supposed to be totally compliant with the latest rules, and brought back old memories when I played it. The team members I've seen seem enthousiastic about their game, and I'll definitly buy it when it ships!

You can run dwarf companion to alter the items he is looking after.

I selected GTK just to mess with people using weird charsets. I have no clue on how to solve your specific problem, but as you have access to the source, you are free to port it to .net.

Well you can have it auto refresh, and yes it eats a lot of cpu. It was like that at first, but I didn't like to loose the selected lines or current scrolled position every update.

I started working on DC while I was away with my linux laptop. I had no choice then but to write a linux module. It is however not supported since the first release, and was way too slow anyway  (you can only read 4 bytes per syscall with ptrace ...).

No linux is not supported. Running a win32 python through wine might work.

I said that because im-*.dll is part of GTK.

I only use 2.5. It means that you have a dll conflict somewhere. The best course is to reinstall the gtk runtime environment (I think).

The point is it *would* work with 39g :)

I didn't test it, but I heard 0.13 works.

Updated the wiki, added a new reveal.py script to reveal the map. It is however *really* slow and somehow bugged :) I suppose i got some offsets wrong.

shpr: i sent you a private message on the forum, but i guess you never check them :)

Oh yes one big request, would it be possible to edit items (material it's made of, quality, type/material/quality of decorations) somewhere in the future?

That sure would be awesome. I know how to find where the item information for a dwarf is, but not how to get its name / quality / stuff ... :( I suppose it would be possible to find the quality settings, but it's too much work for now.
