Hey, I don't have a problem with a fan fiction, which it resembles more than a storyline that they'd slip in between the books, but regarding the Black Gate, they never said he was guarding the Black Gate. Quite the opposite, I believe they were outlaws, living in their own community far away where Gondorian law would not look for them, near the Black Gate. Who's to say that there weren't such outlaws?

Yeah, he's bound to Celebrimbor.  That shows up pretty quickly and was announced before the game was even released.  The end of the game pretty much states that he's going to go create a new ring.
Well, I have no idea how it works out after the credits roll in the land of Middle Earth, but I doubt he overthrew Sauron considering he remained until the end of the Third Age.

I'm not saying that all the ideas are completely original, nor do I believe that this all fits perfectly into lore. Obviously, DF has done WAY MORE random generation than this came ever could, and yes, they probably stole from mainstream games. As far as the lore, I don't think Sauron's magic could bind a dead Elf lord and a dying Gondorian's souls together, but he is of the Maiar and was trained by Morgoth, a Vala. For those who have not read the Silmarillion, he's basically a Demi-God who learned from a God. I will say that I love seeing this incorporated into the otherwise static and boring worlds of mainstream gaming. Also, if I may prophesize, Talion will likely end up becoming a Ring-Wraith eventually. If his plan is to build his way to the top and kill Sauron, he'll need a Ring of Power to accomplish that and one of those could corrupt him. To get one, it'd probably be impossible to forge it, unless he's bound to the Elf Lord I think he might be, Celebrimbor (the Elf who forged the Rings), so he'd probably have to take out a current Ring-Wraith. If he could forge his own, he's likely be free of Sauron, but who knows what would happen then. If I'm wrong, I haven't played the game yet so please inform me if that's not how it ends.

I should point out here that the last goblin keep I explored was in the middle of an all-out civil war between the goblins and the trolls.
The time has come! Quick, we must decide who to fight for. Goblins or Trolls?

It is terrifying.

Kidding, in reality it is all they've ever known. To one who has known better, it would be like the glowing pits of Hell, but they don't know such luxuries. All they have ever known is the horrible pit of death in which overseers test their whims, such as Megabeast pit fights and magma-tree bombs. You can't feel pain if it's all you've ever known.

Why do Trolls follow Goblins? They should not be slaves. They could easily crush them. Why don't they?

Consult his local doctor. It is physically impossible for an Elf to kill a Dragon.

Doctor's diagnosis: Urist has gone insane.

WWUD if the Dragon killed the Elf and ironically ate it(since Elves eat their killed combatants).

Urist has just discovered the secret new Night Creature, the dopplegänger (excuse me if that's spelled incorrectly).

WWUD if he lead the entire Dwarven nation to conquer the Elves, and was separated from the army, facing the Elvish queen and her guard on his own?

1058
Never.

Why don't Goblins think it is right to eat sentient creatures, but the Firstborn (the Elves) do?

1059
They are too heavy to be swung effectively without tiring the user. No proud Dwarf would wield one, yet they will wield a rock sword. Why? I do not know.

Why don't Dwarves commit actual murder outside of tantrums?

Urist cancels pinch pocket:Needs alcohol

An Urist has stolen a barrel of mead!

WWUD if he rose up against the Kobolds who raised him?

Because elves fail to see the true value of the ultimate crop, the Plump Helmet.

Why can't engravers engrave an engraving of them engraving an engraving of them engraving an engraving more often? (Inception)
Dwarves go insane too much already.

How do Dwarves create functional, fully fletched bolts out of solid metal, wood, bone, etc.?

As far as avoiding Boogeymen, try sleeping in a tree. It's worked for me.

Since my previous adventurer died to a vampire braining him (was trying to talk him down, but I think the vampire was mute, I dunno), I rerolled a new guy in another dwarven civ.

You know those random people in your home town/village/fort/retreat that hate you for no particular reason? Well, I wanted to exchange my bismuth bronze battleaxe for a steel one that a woodcutter had, and said woodcutter hated me for no particular reason. Thinking it was maybe that the relationships needed to be updated, I saved and reloaded, guy still hated me, though stopped spitting.

However, when I tried to trade, he kept saying to move closer even though i was right next to him. So, i decided that NPC was being a jerk, spat at him and left. I'll just get my steel axe from someone else.
Really? I'd have relieved him of both head and axe.

As far as my adventures, I keep dying to lashers. Everytime.
