I just live under a rock when it comes to getting to varied and interesting forum games. Seems all the super fun stuff happens during my bi-yearly hibernation, haha. But not this time, I'll grab Bay12 history with these two hands!

632
Somehow I've never seen this concept before. But, I'm definitely interested. We'll see how this goes, won't we?

Hey there. My turn came around at some point during my long period of inactivity due to a number of reasons. Doesn't make it any better, sorry for letting it drag on for that much longer!

Regardless, I'll ask, is it alright to be placed at the bottom of the list again? I will do everything in my effort to make sure I play my turn this time around. If not, I'll happily watch on anyhow. The original Museum and II was what got me into Bay12 to begin with. Haha.

Far from the best quality. Up to you if you want to use it, my image scaler is pretty bad. Haha.

635
I mean. I don't mind making more decks and losing over and over again to ya Supernerd. I was seeing if any more interest would be drummed up in the interim.

"An' here I was thinkin' of skipping Science too." Muses the punk, both arms behind his head as he looks on to the billowing smoke and embers. Despite this, Rulao wanders on down the hall, retreading his casual game with Jack, focusing, bending his mind upon this next card.

Then, he pictures it. It transcends his SOUL, finally something he was proud of. Out of nowhere in the hallway, he roars out, "Hell yeah!" Pumping the card in his fist all the while.

Perhaps battle brings out his best?

The People's Republic of Regret, for a land with a name as on the nose as possible, you truly get right what's on the tin. A coalition of the most despotic, misanthropic folks reside, governing on the sole platform of world dominition, world destruction.

Perhaps it is no surprise that $3 Billion goes toward ICBM research. (3/10)
Another $3 Billion is put forward for the construction of three Vaults. Namely β, γ, and δ.
Finally, $4 Billion is put toward the construction of four warheads.

"Yeah. . ." Rulao rasped, crossing both arms after putting away his makeshift deck. "I don't like that bowl-cut kid one bit" The punk muses aloud, though possibly just enough for Rose and Diance to hear him as they finish their match. "Still worth gettin' in that first game I think."

639
Rulao frowns for a moment, "If you thought you were gonna get some kinda serious competition when today's my first freakin' day. I dunno what to tell ya." Rulao's abrasive voice wheezes through.

He draws a card, not expecting much.

"Ain't like I had a chance to make more than three." He adds, looking over the crusteaceans in his hand, "And they sure as shit ain't too monsterous like that ball thingy said. Dunno what gives."

As he speaks, he places his hand down, and gestures the fingers as if to say, 'Come finish me off.' Ending his turn.

The thug draws another card. And throws it down without much thought.

His eyes light up, seeming to have an idea. Sureky not one that would win him the game given their simple cards. But an idea nonetheless. He slaps down Mesmer Mantis!

"I'm swapping that zombie's effect with my thorny vine, meaning it CAN attack now." And so it does, dealing 2 damage to the Pegasus taking two in kind. Then, he sends his tentacle against the Illuminator, leaving it at three. Rulao ends his turn.

Rulao draws his next card, considers the options very briefly then slams down a Walking Dead!

"Ya'know bowl-cut? I'm almost startin' to wonder if I've got a chance." He throws that thought away almost immediately and sends his Fallen Paladin to attack and deal a measly two damage to the pegasus. Dying in the process. Afterwhich he ends his turn.

Rulao freezes for just a moment, the palm of his rough hand on the top of his deck. "That's a pretty rad card ya got there." He says. "Probably ain't nothing I can do about it neither. But I ain't the kind to surrender."

With that, the punk draws his next card, slamming down a Cosmic Isopod for a free useless star.

Afterwards he slams down a Fallen Paladin.

"With yer boy's effect here, yer lightbringer'll take a damage, then my tentacle will finish him off." He declares. Possibly the most he could accomplish with his limited deck.

Rulao shakes away the unease deep inside that denotes himself as an unrepentant ass-hat and draws a card.

"Guess I'll just play 'nother one of these fer now." He rasps, throwing down his next card. And ending his turn.

The crooked business man struggles, another bullet, another wound, another gravestone for the good men that stood against his profit driven master plans. To the oligarchs, to the water barons, to the entrepreneurs of every stripe, he'd be hailed a hero. Their games of capitalism, of consumerism, of exploitation were secured under the refined old man's belt.

But to the people of the town, that slate suited man was a demon, selling their souls off to his lord and master.

"Hoist him up. . ." Aleister growled, goons flooding out of the woodwork to do his dastardly bidding. "Let em all know." He adds, managed to force himself to stand even as he's gouting blood in the dusty street. "Let em all know who's town this is!" Despite his state, the old feller managed to roar, the spitting image of a wild beast he were, without a hint of remorse.

But he'll get his comeuppance one day. We all do. As we stand, we kneel before the Lord. And when that day comes, The Gun, Jack, Dylan, even Flint and all the souls that fell into this twister of blood will stand as his jury. . .

For its simple nature, this was an exceedingly fun game actually. And not just because luck seemed to be on my side. Haha. Thanks!
