It seems like dungeons no longer contain loot or enemies, maybe a chief which is hostile but doesnt attack. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so is there a fix?

Wagons are already in the game, so I expect they should be modelled like that, at least at first. Eventually I would like to see different body parts on different tiles, so dwarves would have to climb on a colossus to attack its head.
siege engine revamps, no military is going to take on a multi tile chunk of hostile bronze lol

I'm aware of the filter system and yeah spreading rumors does have a different effect but slaying a full grown dragon might be more relevant than killing a leader.
If you will kill some not related to village beast, even if it's some wild, full grown dragon who live away from civ and eating some wild boars, it's not intresting news... Killing local leader is more intresting, really.
Have you ever looked at dragons in legends?

Dragons are more bound to do stuff but his point still stands. Unless the dragon is relevant to the civilization due to doing some acts it wont matter much. Its the same with titans in my experience, sometimes they idle at thier homes for about 500 years doing absolutely nothing but killing a single dwarf or two.
What I'm trying to say is that feats of combat are undervalued in a world that seems to revolve around combat as a whole. Your point does have accurate, agreeable logic I just see it from another perspective.

I dont even use companions anymore since the speech system became so complicated. I just spend a few hours powerleveling and slaughter any bogeymen/dragons/bronze colossi that get in my way, throwing is more useful than combat cause there is no way to train it without potentially getting your adventurer maimed, rendering it useless.

This makes sense but shouldnt superdwarven strength allow things not normally possible? I agree with nearly all of your argument but there are freaks of nature that can do freaky things like use weapons taller than themselves. I'm looking for a small minority to be allowed single grasp 2h swords. Except candy, its like wielding a deadly feather anyone can do it.

Sparring with companions or non-hostile warriors makes complete sense, companions would of course spar while on journeys or quests to get better. An option to spar with one or more companion at a time makes complete sense and fits into dwarf fortress.
