Pokemon getting torn to pieces, butchered, eaten and bred for food, huge legendary Pokemon being slain by dozens of dwarves and subjected to the same fate. It's everything that pokemon wasn't! Do go on.

I had an adventurer named Tin Axeperfect.
Sadly, his (or her? I don't remember) axe wasn't made of tin.

I had a guy named Monkproblem. I had high temple-razing hopes for him, but after killing just one ettin he ended up encased in ice because he went for a dip and the cold, cold night froze the water.

You can find the legend pages by starting a new game in the world where the adventurer lived, choosing legends, choosing historical figures, hitting up to get to the recent figures and finding your adventurer.

Most of my characters die after killing no more than one ettin/cyclops/minotaur in a cave, and the minions around it. Fittingly, their descriptions in the legends page are short and boring.
Let's start a thread where people post their successful, funny or otherwise noteworthy legends page entries.

The cyclops I was sent to fight is currently lying down in front of me. My axe and all the solid throwable bodparts are on the same tile at the cyclops. All I can do is wrestle the him. I've already broken all his joints, slashed his eye out and strangled his neck. He just lies there, fading in and out of consciousness. My adventurer is getting tired, and I don't know how to make the cyclops die already so I can get my stuff and get out of the cave. What else can I do to bring his long overdue death closer?
Edit: He finally bled to death. The bastard lay unconscious on the floor, yet all my punches kept glancing away.

Strangling seems to go on indefinitely. Rats and minotaurs alike withstood many turns of strangling, and only died when I decided to release one of their body parts to try something else. Does strangling really go on like that, or can you eventually kill an incapacitated creature by strangling it?

Would a player-controlled adventurer lacking arms bite enemies like that?

That is epic. Was the adventurer anything less than a maxed out legendary swordsman?

I found the dying carp the river and proceeded to assist them in their departure, harvest their parts and throw them at elves.
The carp heads proved to be no less deadly than they were just minutes before.

While walking in the rain, I was kindly informed by the announcement screen that vile carp are drowning. How does that happen?

Nice idea, but when I checked the description of the shield it had no outstanding features. So in my mind that shield was a smooth as an elf's face.</STRONG>

A shield that isn't completely round or elliptic may have sharp corners that could  penetrate flesh if thrusted into the chest of a small child by a bad-ass adventurer.
Otherwise, there's always the possibility of one of her ribs breaking and entering her heart.

Our only weak point is the eventual depletion of wood for bolts, but the solution is to maintain an enormous supply of the stuff. Even the herds are kept indoors. We can outwait anyone... no more slaughterhouse for this fortress!

Slaughtered animals give bones, which can be turned into bone bolts. You should be able to keep the bolts coming.
