DF General Discussion / Dwarf Fortress with an Ergodox

I realise that maybe I should just pull out a staggered keyboard for games, but the dox is just so much more comfortable.
For reference, here's a picture:
I was wondering if anyone else was into obscure keyboards and played DF with it. What does your keyboard layout look like? Did you make a special DF layer? Did you change the game keys? Both?
Edit: Maybe I should mention that the board is fully programmable. As in, I have the source code for the firmware. I've moved keys around a lot. For example, no arrow keys on the home layer. Which also means I could, conceivably, make a specialised layer with all the useful DF keys easily accessible. But I wanted to bounce it off the veterans before committing to so much work.
