Also Mutiny is fun. Only if you're Command/sec though. Regular crew just have to suck it up and cry if they get demoted.

Completely irrelevant, but SS13 is scary. The top-down view gives you no idea which way sounds are coming. Sometimes, I hear someone hacking, deconstructing or even shooting nearby, but when I go see what is going on, nobody is there, because I apparently went to look in the wrong direction. I return to where I was, and then the sounds come back. Again, search another direction, nothing. This goes on until I go insane from paranoia.

Headphone player. I can hear where things come from.

The test light can be off, that's why you can hack and bolt doors open by yourself. The bolt lights may have to stay on, not sure.

Power starts to die in the station as a whole at the 20-30 minute mark. If you latejoined that's probably the issue. A practiced engineer can get the whole singulo up by themselves in eight minutes.
Generally the emitters at very low power will fire shots but shut off before engineering gets any power for it.

Also, fully loaded tanks (using plasma canister) will let you put all the SMES at input 200k. However, you can still use the singularity perfectly fine without full plasma tanks. It takes about 4-5 hours until unfilled plasma tanks will actually need to be refilled.

Regarding airlocks - bolted doors need their bolt wires pulsed with a multitool to raise bolts, but the bolts can be activated by cutting the wire. Always have a multitool with you as an engineer.

That really was a nice mutiny round. Most chaotic it ever got was when a botanist tried flinging a hatchet into my chest and welderbombing the meeting. Fortunately he failed both times.

Heh. Sucking every victim dry wasn't even what I meant. The favored strategy, AKA what I have seen unfailingly from all vamps:

1. Genetic up all the monkies. Drain and hide bodies. Optional.
2. Jaunt into armory, steal everything.
3. Laser everyone to death. Screeching or even bloodsucking at all optional.
4. Pretend there are no rules against murderboner. Feel good about self.
Perhaps I am just a sour man.
