Smile receding, Tech removes the faux peppermint stick from her mouth to inspect the opening. Outright, unjust deception! No one fakes a candycane!

The aftertaste was a nice touch, though.

Suzume looked around, walking past Tatsuya, moving her aid in accordance to her own movements. Her surroundings were new, unfamiliar, and largely confusing. "I suppose getting a tour around here is out of the question, since you're new here as well."

Tech wastes no time getting to work on the candycane, save the moment she'd taken to wave the animatronics goodbye, a large smile plastered onto the mouth hugging the treat as she chirpily resumes her way towards the door. Approaching the rest of the group, she looks around the entrance. "Wh'arr they?" She says, her inquiry muffled.

((Edit: I had a looming feeling it was plastic, but I'm not going to erase the fact I put it in my mouth. I'd probably do that anyhow.

Suzume pressed her lips together, disconcertedly looking up at the taller boy as she anchored herself, her walking aid affront her; once she'd steadied herself, she tentatively offered the other her hand,"My name is Suzume. I'm really sorry about bumping into you-- I didn't mean to, of course, I just wasn't looking where I was going."

General clumsiness was something that was simply unavoidable. Her legs were noodles, really; If it weren't for that walking stick of hers, she'd most likely be falling on her hind left and right. School, on the other hand, was entirely avoidable. She could probably turn back without anyone noticing she'd even stepped foot on campus. She would, oh, she would-- that is, if her legs hadn't been denying her that right. Her stupid, feeble legs; they only continued in their initial direction. Yet again, they would've, "that is," if she hadn't bumped into the person she'd failed to notice before.

"Oh, er- uh, I'm sorry, I didn't..."

Tech accepts the gift in turn, glancing towards Hugo as he leaves the room before her attention is drawn back to the box she holds. Opening it, there was but a moment of hesitation as she tore away the wrapping paper.
