I'm never making hammer-only.

Coming back looking looking somewhat irritated, several inkstains bejewling her dress, Liz carries a few pieces of paper while Sebastian wheels in what appears to be a world map dripping with the blood of the damne... Oh, it's just more ink.

"There was a bit of an accident, which was bad. Thankfully, the place we actually care about is unmarked," she says, pointing at a small spot on the map to the northwest of where you know you currently are.

"It should be roughly three or four days' travel. Normally for a slow convoy it might take weeks, or even months if they're disastrously unlucky, but as we're relatively few in number and don't have a huge amount of stuff to bring, we'll likely make good time."

At this point she places her hands down on the table.

"So, do any of you have any questions before I start explaining in-depth about what I want from all of you, and what we're going to do?"

I'm voting for Kanogouti. Fairly sure I explained why.

Juicebox: My power and role will be getting scrambled because I intend on investigating Tiruin tonight, who has claimed that she does that.

If you guys really can't decide on a lynch, you can lynch me. It'll stop me from investigating Tiruin and randomizing my power set, but I'll revive no worse for wear the next day.

While I'm fairly certain she's probably some sort of character which gains positives from being lynched and I doubt she's town aligned, I'd prefer over a No-Lynch.

Uxie's game said signups closed I think from the inception of the thread.

And I dunno, keep an eye on this thread I guess? Usually there'll be a post announcing it here and then submissions tend to be open about a week.

Yeah, my game was opened into signups closed from the start because I was giving priority to members of my previous game that died. What few slots did open up were filled pretty much instantly by people I thought would make good additions to the game.

Theres only so many types of magic. Repetitions gonna happen.

Not really. The main problem I have is that presumably the way the telekinesis works is identical to the way my character's works. Something like creating small bubbles of antigravity would be fine, using concentrated, focused gusts of wind to manipulate objects would be too. The problem is that it's the exact same power.

"I am sorry. I do not mean to be strange."
She nods.

"If you don't mean to be strange... Maybe I can also help teach you to be more... Normal?"

Alex realised he'd have his work work cut out if he tried that.

"Of course, only if you wanted me to."

233
"Ahahaha~!"
She pats him on the leg.
"You are often amusing. I think I like you."

Stiffening like a board at her touch, Alex manages to respond calmly. Thankfully, the relaxing position allowed him to maintain most of his composure.

"I think I like you too, even if you're often a bit strange."

It was an odd thing, to feel both happy and sad at the same time.

234
"OH GOD, OH GOD, YOU CUT ME IN HALF, YOU SICK FREAKS!"

Alex returns to his earlier position, his hands crossed behind his head as he lies down on his bed, enjoying the cool breeze from the now-activated fan.

"And I enjoy teaching you, so if you ever don't understand those sort of things, please feel free to ask me."

He gives a slight grin.

"I know next to nothing about magic, though, so please don't ask me about that."

236
"...what is 'polyester'?"

Well, that was out of left field.

"That's something that requires a lot of technical knowledge to understand properly... I can give you a crash course, but I'm not entirely certain you'll understand."

Doing his best to keep it simply for Relspi's sake, Alex tries to give a basic explanation of functional groups and polymers, and how they work together to make polyester materials.

"If you aren't hungry, there is no problem!"

"Then we can just stay here and keep talking. Tell me if you want something to nibble on while we speak."

Alex smiles softly.

"So, let's keep going. What do you want to know about?"

If you absolutely must, then go ahead. I just dislike PCs sharing identical innate powers. I especially dislike my PC sharing identical innate powers.

"I... sh-shouldn't we have gone to eat?"

Alex hadn't thought of that. He didn't usually eat very much, and rarely particularly felt the need to. Relspi might be different, and she was extremely tall for a girl.

"If you want to eat, we can. If you don't, there's no point. I'm not really that hungry, and there should be a few snacks in here."

240
"How clever!"
She giggles again, in that disturbing way she has.

Alex doesn't find Relspi's laugh disturbing. If anything, he finds it cute and endearing. Unique.

So he just keeps smiling.

"So, that's cars, ships, and ceiling fans. What else would you like to know about? There's probably a lot."
