Did you want to sign up for a fresh game or were you okay with replacing in?

BM51 was well underway when you posted that, so replacement was the only option for that particular game.

Oh, my mistake. Sign me up for the *next* one.
I must have gotten confused with the timelines...

Creative Projects / Re: Random Things you drew/shopped/made/etc.

Currently working on my Minecraft cathedral's fence. God, even projects that are only large-ish, on superflat and in creative mode take foreeeeever when you have to place each block individually. It gets even worse because I'm the kind of person who'll do a massive wall, and then tear it down because I think it will look better in wood... Only to change my mind and do it all over again.
Also, I tend to really dislike something unless it is either perfectly symmetrical, or mirrored/inverted in a meaningful way while still having a symmetrical shape (e.g. blue is opposite red, water is opposite lava, so on.)

I'd like to note that this is nowhere near done, and everything is subject to change... For better or worse.

I'll put you on the list then.

*COUGH*

I'll sign up for BM 51. I've had a bit of experience previously with Mafia but it was through a SC2 custom map that made most things automated. It will be interesting to see what it's like playing on a forum instead.

If I'm active on the forums but seem to be missing the mafia game, please PM me because my memory isn't the greatest and it's possible I forgot.

I'm waaaay out, since I'm

A) Aiming for Psionic (due to my character inspiration)
and
B) A scout.

What's an MEC, by the way?

3905
I kind of wrote that in to give you options. I'd prefer to not have to deal with a Loyalty 1 Pokemon right off the bat, but I guess it could be rationalized to explain the Riolu's slower loyalty growth.

*Edit*

Anyway, starter sheet going up. I didn't randomize anything.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Let me know if I've missed anything. I'd also like to request the more experienced people to look at my stats and tell me if I've screwed them up terribly. It may be a massive mistake to have defense so low, but I'm not sure due to my own inexperience.

3906
It's the roll for the skill, I believe.

3907
Yes, but loyalty is meant to start at 2. The issue is that Riolu evolves at *3* which is directly after, and probably the easiest loyalty rank to get to. (All you need to do is treat the Pokemon fairly well. It does take time, but not a massive amount of it.)
So unless my Riolu starts out with a loyalty of 1 or 0 (which is insane), his loyalty growth will have to be gated artificially for a while. That's why I was saying that it would make sense to either add in another condition (E.g. level 20 or something) or increase the loyalty requirement.
Unless the GM decides to not bother with loyalty changes until a while into the campaign, in which case I guess it's fine.

3908
I don't even know *how* to randomize. >_>
I'd be fine doing so if you give me an explanation, though.

Also, I've noticed that the book recommends starters with 3 evolution stages...
I've also noticed that Riolu evolves to Lucario due to getting Loyalty 3. You may want to add another condition or change the loyalty requirement slightly, because it seems like he'll evolve way too fast (as Loyalty 3 is meant to be reasonably easy to get to, compared to everything else at least.)

Spamming highmax with PMs because my background is enooooormous. I'll write out something in the same format as the other guys here, though (As in, I'll edit it into THIS post). I dislike looking at other people's character sheets when I can help it. It feels strange knowing someone's personality without having met them.

On a side note: Do you choose our starter's nature/ability, or do we?

Spoiler: Sheet (click to show/hide)

Note for highmax: I noticed while writing this out that I appeared to have had an athletics rank up coming out of the ether. I've compensated for it by lowering command. Hopefully that hasn't screwed everything else up. >_>

3910
Man, I'm going to hate it if I don't get in because I've put too much effort into trying to think out my character's back story and reasoning behind all of his attributes and skills. >_>

3911
I think I'll just start with the Riolu in that case. (If it's allowed as a starter.)
The background I've thought of for my character may be too dark for a Pokemon world though, so I'll have to pass it by the GM before I can really consider myself 'done.'
I know how I'm going to change it if that's the case, at least.

Actually, do our starters start at level 1 or 5?

3912
Would Riolu be fine as a starter? Or would it be too weak? I notice an underdog tag. >_>

3913
I'd give this a shot if my internet wasn't running so poorly (and will continue to until next month. T_T)
Well, I may be able to do something. We'll see if I can put something together...

Good luck in finding players (I may be one of them), this does look pretty interesting. It seems kind of like DnD mixed with Pokemon. If I can manage to download the rules PDFs... Ever... I'll be able to get a better understanding of it.

I wonder how feasible it would be to have a human fight solo... My guess is 'not very'.

*Edit*
Definitely looking really cool. I managed to download the PDFs, so I'm in. I'll need to get done with making a character though. It actually seems a fair amount more complicated than DnD but I'll get used to it.

*Edit 2*
In the process of making a character. Currently developing their personality. I'll choose the class and stuff based off of what I think would suit it best. I'm not sure when it will be done, though.

*Edit 3* Got my idea for the character mostly solidified. Unless a curve ball comes up, I think I know how he'll turn out.

*Edit 4* About that curve ball... It turns out it's extremely difficult getting all the feats, edges and skills to all mesh with my character concept. >_>

Ah, in that case I'll change my vote to Tactical Officers then.

I'll vote for OTS. The ability to send more troops into battle will allow more people to gain experience at once. (Unless the XP is split between all active members.) Basically, it seems to be something that will benefit us more the longer we have it researched, therefore I want to have it done first.
