So. Anybody hearf of the spaceX disaster?

You open your eyes to locate the soldier that prodded you. He was standing to your right, and was wearing the uniform of the Italian army. You see a look of surprise and fear cross the soldier's face, which gives you a precious moment to make the first strike. With your right arm, you form a fist and punch the soldier right in the throat, then you grab his weapon with your left hand. The soldier instinctively tries to scream, but due to your attack, all that comes out is a high-pitched whimper. With his weapon out of reach, you pull him down into the foliage, and choke him. He flails around, creating a racket, but you notice in the corner of your eyes that that the soldiers running past were only momentarily glancing at you two struggling before continuing to run after the remaining guerrilla soldiers. The american's in the army were as reluctant to kill you as you were to kill them. The Italian's movements began to become sluggish, and after 3 minutes, he stops moving all together. By this time, the entire army and even the tanks had charged past your position. You take this moment of privacy to undress from your hunting clothes and switch them with the Italian's clothes. You are reluctant to leave your hunting pack behind, but needs must. You switch the weapons and equipment with the Italian, then continue running after the advancing army. You follow the destruction created by the tanks and trucks, until you find the army encamped in a large clearing. You loop around the army, and approach from the front, to make it seem like you were off attacking the guerrillas. As you approach an american sentinel stops you and asks, "what is tonight's code word?"

OSG: Why so insistent on no lynch even though it will not benefit town? Its what a scum would do to survive.
Because I think it will benefit town. If we proceed normally, we get a maximum of 2 power role usages, and 3 lynches. The other way, we get a maximum of 4 power role usages, and 1 lynch.

You reveal yourself to the American soldiers. They all look at you, but don't make a move. You walk towards your comerade, he weakly says, "just kill me." You grab a pistol from the dead german's body, aim at your comrade's head, but hesitate. You can't bring yourself to pull the trigger. You try again to pull the trigger, but your finger just won't move. The third time, you look away, and imagine the german in the same position. Finally, you are able to muster the willpower to pull the trigger. You look back at you dead comrade, and puke your guts out. You start crying for what you just did, but reassure yourself that it had to be done. You the other soldiers around were showing emotion as well. You tell them through your tears and nausia,"take him back to your superiors. Tell them he killed the german and Iberian, but you killed him in return. I pray that they will be merciful on you. Best of luck. I'm sorry I cannot do more." The soldiers seemed to accept your apology, and you and them went your separate ways. Once you are far enough away, you whistle for Argos to join you again. She happily perches on your arm, completely oblivious to the thoughts and emotions running through your head. You continue to the rendezvous point, and Argos's happy, playful attitude helps cheer you up to the point where you no longer regret living. After 3 hours of walking, you finally arrive at the valley, and see the huddled group of soldiers. You see a majority of the soldiers who participated in the ambush, but there were still many missing faces. Either they didn't make it yet, or they were captured or killed.

Millers was with the group, and welcomed you back. "Glad you made it back. We are still missing some, but we need to get going at sunset, whether they make it or not." The last few hours of the day were spent collecting resources from the countryside. People were also discussing what happened during the ambush. You decide not to tell anybody about what happened to you. A few more soldiers trickle in as the sky reddens, but finally, Millers orders everybody to pack up and get moving. Right at that moment, gunfire sounds from the forest where you came from. dozens of your comrades fall, and the rest scatter, leaving most of their belongings and supplies, simply running in terror. You did the same, but took your hunting backpack with you. However, your rifle was not with it, because you had let a comrade look at it when the attack happened. Argos takes flight away from the danger, but you have no such luxury. You hide behind a thick tree, and go prone. You don't dare look, but you can tell from the war cry that a sizable portion of the army had participated in this attack. This was no accident, somehow the army had learned the location of the rendezvous point. You stay prone, and hope that nobody sees you as soldier after soldier runs past your position. As time goes on, you hear another noise, engines. This confirms your suspicion that nearly the entire army, if not all of the army, had participated in this attack. You ponder how the enemy might have garnered this information, but you are interrupted by a soldier who sees you and prods your chest with the barrel of his machine gun. You try to stay limp, but there is an audible grunt as the air is forced out of your lungs. You will not be able to hide anymore.

I revive (once) out of pure hatred of Scilians. deterring the Mafia from silencing me in the middle of the night, or from hanging me upon a tree in order to distract us for at least another day. If I were any good at hunting scum, how could this possibly harm our chances of winning?
That's not what I learned, GayArchaea. My relelation said that youcan revive once out of pure hatred. (period) It seems that you just tacked that extra part on. If you have no other powers, why are you afraid of being silenced in the middle of the night? hmm!?

I agree with Teneb that no lynching is generally bad, but we are in a special situation where scum was lynched day 1, and we still have a power role. I think that we can give that power role 4 chances to find scum and 1 lynch, is better then 2 chances and 3 lynches.

I will vote no lynch for now, unless someone gives a really good reason not to.

Your comrade continues to scream in pain, while the german kneels down so that his head is level. He asks again, "vehr are your men hideeng?" Your comrade starts whimpering unintelligible syllables. "Put heem down" The german said. The Americans quickly obeyed, the whimpering stopped. "I vill ask you vun last time, vehr are your men hideeng?" You know what is coming next, so you act quickly. You grab your rifle from it's holster, aim right for the german's head, and fire. There is a small explosion of blood as your buckshot strikes him in the back of the head, right where the head meets the neck. The skull is very weak in that spot, so the pellets enter easily, then ricochet around the inside of his skull. He falls over dead. You immediately dash to a new position while the enemy were making noises. Good thing too, because no sooner had you left then bullets started ripping through the undergrowth you were hiding behind. You find the second foreigner, an Iberian, and shoot him in the face with buckshot. He also died instantly, but he american soldiers didn't notice due to the noise, but slowly, one by one, they noticed that they no longer had any foreigners with them. When the last one stopped shooting. One of them shouts out in your general direction, "You bastard. Now they will kill us and out families." You then hear your dying comerade say, "kill me and take me to your superiors. They should be pleased." You want to ask them to join your band of guerilla fighters, but you would be asking them to kill their families, and you want to save your comrade, you have a tough choice to make.

origamiscienceguy: Are you the headmaster of the school? Who are your top three picks for a role inspect tonight, if you would use it?
I would like to inspect someone who had not claimed cop yet, which I think is only you.

You immediately drop to a crouch, preparing for a hail of bullets to eviscerate you from an unknown direction, but when the rapid, piercing bangs echo through the forest, you quickly discover (by the fact that you are still alive) that they were not aiming for you. You hear the screams of a dying man, after which the guns stop. You hear a distinctively german voice, "cease. Ve need heem alife." You silently crawl forward, setting Argos on the ground, and using hand gestures to tell her to stay still and quiet. You come behind a tree trunk, and peer around. There were around 10 soldiers, with 2 of the foreigners. The german was walking up to one of the men you recognized from your group. He must have been on his way to the rendezvous just like you. He was bleeding from two gunshot wounds in his lower body. He would most likely die, but you know that it would take a long time. The german walks up to him and asks the american soldiers who first saw him. "Vitch vay vas he going ven you first saw heem?" One of the Americans points North, and a second follows suit. You know that the Rendezvous was southwest, so either your comrade heard them coming and deliberately misled them, or the American soldiers in the army were lying about what they saw. The german kneels down beside your wounded comrade and says, "vehr are your men hideeng?" Your comerade spits directly in his face, getting a hard slap on the cheek back. The german wipes away the saliva, then says to his troops, "Tie heem upside down, and carry heem back to camp. See how vell he feels after zat. The Americans slowly come forward with a metal pole and some rope. The begin tying him up. As soon as they lift him up, the man screams in agony, grasping at the bullet wounds in his lower body. You cannot allow them to find the rendezvous point.

Yes, but one cop claim narrows it down to two people, and a successful jail would be a 50% chance of finding scum (just jail the same person)

hmm. One scum offed already, 6 town left. That means we have 3 more chances left to get the last one.

I'm thinking about possible no lynching, after all, that would give us 4 chances for the cop/jailer to find the scum for sure, followed by a lynch if even that fails. Of course, if the scum get lucky and find our information role, we would switch back to lynching.

I decided to reveal that to try to get people talking about the purpose of text editing.
OSG: Alright.  What do you feel your claim adds to the discussion, particularly considering my earlier claim?
origamiscienceguy: Still want answers to these, too.
The rule about being able to edit posts was definately out of the ordinary. I suspected that there must have been some sort of power activated by post edits, and I was trying to see if anybody knew of it. As of now, I still have no clue why we are even able to post edit, since as far as I can tell, it serves no purpose. I don't have a normal cop inspect.

Third is OSG and his multibox power funtime deal--of which I have still received no answer. :P You're the cop out of all the cops dude! There's one that is a bit different from the others here.
I am a role cop, but I can't find out orientation. This could be either way, I am not sure which roles are good and bad roles, which is a shame, but given how this has gone so far, im not sure how useful detecting people would be. Either there are a lot of sanity issues (in which case, people should check someone that has already been checked.

It is my opinion that we should not go with a no lynch today. But I have no idea who it should be, since there is no way that all cop inspects were accurate. I'll sleep over it, and maybe have an idea tomorrow.
