"It's not about the land, it's about the people and these trees. It seems like they are important to the entity." He slowly turns to face the village. "Last time I heard about someone supercharging their reactor with an entire crystal all buildings within twenty miles were completely destroyed, at thirty miles most were destroyed, at sixty miles all unprotected beings that survived the blast suffered serious third-degree burns. So it's a little more than just a patch of farmland and seeing as the clock is ticking, I'm going to head for the center." Titus starts to move towards the village center, running at nearly 40 miles per hour. 

Titus looks down at his clenched hands and eventually they relax and he just quietly listens. After a bit he slowly begins to lightly laugh. "Oh, man." He retracts his helmet and looks at everyone. "What the fuck are we doing?"

"I am capable of functioning in high pressure environments unsuited. However it is uncomfortable."

"No I meant that-" He lets out an annoyed and exasperated sigh and goes back to typing. "Nevermind. You're actually making this easier on me." His typing slows down and eventually ends. As soon as he finishes typing a series of small vents open on his armor and steam momentarily flushes out from them. The gold lights on his armor start to flicker.     

"What?"

"Alright, so basically... Do you know what a thermonuclear bomb is? It's kinda like that but with a magical compo-" He's cut off by a loud hissing sound as his breastplate opens up and reveals some sort of magical reactor in the center. "One sec." He extends his right arm forward with his palm facing towards the sky and suddenly a golden crystal begins to materialize slightly above his hand, the gold light on his armor fades. The formed crystal is about the size and shape of a dagger and Titus reaches for it with his left hand, holding it by it's "hilt". He then quickly jams it into the reactor.

"Alright, here's the plan. I've set my suit's controls to voice commands only. As soon as I turn the reactor back on with a phrase, the reactor access controls will lock and we'll have about 2 hours before the bomb goes off, that is a shift doesn't occur. Only the boy can unlock it by verbally answering a question: "How can we escape this place?". I then have to verbally accept it or deny it. If accepted the controls unlock and if denied the bomb goes off. So, any questions, concerns?"

Titus also climbs one of those trees.

"Who?" Titus walks further in and starts to climb a tree.

"Alright Koi, I'm on the way." Titus turns back to Resalth. "Well, I'm off." He opens a small cylinder and drops the rest of his cigar in and then points to Resalth's cigar and speaks in heavily accented draconian. "Enjoy it. It's a Terran classic." He clears his throat, massages it and then goes back to speaking normally. "Man, that's hard on the vocal chords. Sorry if I'm a bit rusty, It's been long time since I've spoken it." He then walks over to where Koi is. "What exactly are we climbing?"   

Titus just shrugs, takes out a lighter and lights up his cigar. After a few puffs he speaks. "So who are you? Or should I say, who were you?"

"No, that wasn't it, we're just... stuck here. That was one of our attempts at escaping or at least in finding a way to escape." He reaches into one of his many compartments and pulls out 2 large cigars. "Do you smoke?"
