Welcome, Ladies and Gentlemen, to a Simple Game of Eat Poop You Cat

Some good examples of EPYC on the internet can be found here and here.

Rules

1)Keep it clean. Don't make sexual references or lewd remarks in the pictures or phrases you submit.
2)Limited use of symbols and letters is allowed in picture you draw, but you cant spell out the phrase. That defeats the fun of the game.
3)I know it's corny, but, have fun!

This was originally a physical game, so rendering it online will require some workarounds.

1)This game is played entirely via PM's. This is to prevent people from "cheating" and making the game really not all that fun.
2)When you submit a painting or phrase, PM me, your moderator. I will make sure that the message passes to the next player in line. Because of this, I will not be playing.
3)When the game is over, I'll update the OP with all the various threads that are created, then we can all laugh at how badly we misinterpreted eachother
4)EPYC technically supports an infinite amount of players, however having more than 11 would be challenging for me to manage, so I'm capping it off at that.
5)People may end up disappearing for lengthy amounts of time, so there will be replacements. I'll allow 2 days, not including weekends, to PM me the next part in the chain, after that, I'll get a replacement.

Note: I suck at making well put togther OP's. If this doesnt make any sense, let me know, and I'll edit it and try to explain it better.

DF Adventure Mode Discussion / Goblin/Human Governmental Relationship
« on: April 09, 2015, 06:50:51 pm »
So, I was looking for some quests from a town lord, and he mentioned that a Crime Syndicate has set itself up in some pits to the north. So I head up there and, to my surprise, the goblin "Crime Syndicate" was actually a sprawling town, complete with weavers. Also, to my surprise, was the fact that the goblins were peaceful. So, I ask them about their troubles, and they cite a Crime Syndicate. "These criminals have even gone so far as to set up a town!" Interestingly, they claimed that the original town I got my quest from was a Crime Syndicate.

So, it looks like neither goblins, nor humans, recognize the other as an official government. I just thought this was interesting enough to tell you guys about...

Welcome, Tribute, to the 29th Annual Hunger Games!

So, this is a Suggestion game, based off of the Hunger Games series. I have set the time to the distant past, so no rebellion yet. Anyway, to start this off, I need someone to fill out the following:

Spoiler: Character Sheet (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Districts (click to show/hide)

After you fill that out, I'll give a breif description of who you are. Then I will start you out after the reaping. You will be able to interact with the other tributes, train, or otherwise do anything the heck you want. After several days of that, you will be put in the arena and fight to the death. If you die in the arena, (or beforehand, if you do something stupid) you will create a new Character and the process will start over.

Everything here will simulated with a D20, along with my judgement.

Now, let the games begin....

Congratulations Tributes!

You have been selected for this years Hunger Games!
You will enter an arena, with 23 other Tributes. You will fight, bleed and die, but in the end one of you will emerge victorious!
Will you be the one to win this year? Will you claim glory for your district?

Will you become the Victor?

Ok, so I wanted to start a Forum Game, and I thought it would be neat if I based it off of the Hunger Games arena setting.

For those unfamiliar with the Hunger Games, basically a bunch of kids, aged 12 to 18, get thrown into an arean to slaughter each other.

In the game, you would be one of these kids. The game would start out with you in the training area, and will progress logically to the arena. If you die, you start over with a new kid, in a new arena. If you win, you start with a new kid also, but your first one will become a mentor, which will in turn benefit/hinder your future combatants.

So, I think everyone understands the gist of it. Would ya'll be interested in playing, or would this be a flop?

This game has been launched. See here.

DF Dwarf Mode Discussion / Fortress Strategy
« on: January 13, 2015, 08:46:09 pm »
Hey guys, I have played DF for about two years now, but I can never seem to make any progress. I can only get about two years into it before catastrophe hits. I usualy lose from starvation, or from the lack of booze. So I wanted to ask you guys what your general fortress strategy is, in the hopes that I can find something that works well for me.

My general strategy is to mine out a huge room near the entrance for general goods, then build about 10 3x3 farms, then still and workshop area. After that, I mine out the bedrooms, and start working on gettin as much metal as possible for a hallway full of serrated disk traps(with each trap having 10 disks :P). Its about this time when food starts getting scarce. What am I doing wrong?
