Forum Games and Roleplaying / Re: Metroid Rivals: Birth of Abe

crazyabe(infant, s1, v2)

Weak... (9)
...Prey... (7)

She decides to seek out something weaker, yet still the kind of prey her mother intended, something to help her adapt and thrive. She just so happened to sense something below her in the broiling abyss... Something... Just.  Right.

...distress.

She came upon some sort of(premium, unfortunate) ancient creature(s2,v1) turtle like with six fins. It had lived far longer than most of its kind. She sensed a loneliness... Perhaps the last one. She targeted three advantages, but she could only choose one:

Dauntless: Grow a hardened core. Fatal blows have a 33% to leave you with 1 vitality. Warning... Unknown penalty.

Swimmer: Grow fins to improve underwater mobility. +1 agility underwater.

Magma Armor: Grow a glass like shell that deflects heat.  +3 heat tolerance. -10% vitality.

Hello, this is still me, I have an alternate(actually older) account for hosting games.

At this time we will follow the adventures of Abe until she(all these Metroids are girls) chooses to molt. Then instead of a strict waitlist, it will be open entry with priority to players who showed interest first. Of course, default to what ever the OP says. (hops ever to RH to edit OP)

The next adventure will be hosted by me.

The nest of crazyabe

Hot... (2)
...friendly... (4)

*hatch!*

Size is One
Vitality is Two
New Abilities... Siphon... Scream...
New Traits... Durable... Sensing... Cold Intolerant...

...Water ...underwater.
She was in an ocean. Deep. Where things were bigger. And the water brighter... And hotter. Too hot. Intuitively she knew this is not where her mother intended her to be. The local geography had changed dramatically since then. But she sensed strength. This was a planet of strong beings, that had not changed. She sensed a lesser one... headed right for her(s2,v2). And then she was grabbed - scooped up off the cliff and... dropped... she senses the creature had been startled. She fell slowly into the burning abyss...

...Fear. Its' fear.

Wait, who pays for an e-mail address?

Google leadership has made it clear user privacy is a forfeit for use of much of their services and I do not prefer this stance. Yahoo and others Ive tried havnt been a quality experience.

Did you try emailing Toady?

You mean just a forum message? I'll try that. I'll report back the results.

The first target: The Citadel. The invading forces have left themselves poorly defended, surely they didn't expect anyone to have the information you do. Suddenly you spot a task force patrolling. You could take them out but the disturbance would risk retaliation on a large scale. Or protective measures of the target you do not want to see followed through. Back at base they are running an active sweep of the area they guide you to the first checkpoint. Suddenly a new task force lands just next to you and base is able to come up with a plan to get you around them and directly in front of your target. You step forward and plug your body into the crevasse as you back out your head and chest armor stays inside as a neon spider web of data leeches out into the facility. You put your drill arm on your face and chest and take in your new self feeling somewhat drained of power now. Meanwhile large columns of flame rip up as devastating explosions take down the leadership facility. Choose your next target.

A. Disable their sea vessels. Lose long-range communicator.
B. Disable their mass infantry. Lose pistol.
C. Disable their special forces. Lose flamethrower.
D. Disable their spy drones. Lose drill.
E. Disable their leadership. Lose shield and advanced targeting.

General Discussion / pretty good part time job if you have a car
« on: May 27, 2016, 10:00:15 pm »

Just started driving for DoorDash. It's in Seattle I'm not sure if it's where you are you have to check it out. I signed up online then I got cleared to go in. Got a bag and a shirt. Then I downloaded the app and turned it on. You sign up for half an hour blocks you can make them as long as you want if that's available. You can even extend if you want to go longer. On average after spending gas I make about 12 bucks an hour but I just started I'm going to get better. I should warn you that your car insurance probably doesn't cover you while you're driving, so you might want to check into that. My current understanding is that you are still legal to drive you just would not get protection from an accident so if that's concerning to you make sure to handle that.

If you want to check it out use my phone number(msg me) as a referral code. I totally would love for you to sign up and do more than 30 deliveries in 30 days so I(and you) can get a bonus, but this is actually a pretty sweet gig, I'm happy to answer any questions and also feel free to use this thread to share other cool jobs you discovered ideally ones that are app besed or would be available to people all over. I signed up for Uber and I was accepted but my car's not new enough and haven't tried it yet. There are no requirements on your car for doordash though. I also hear Postmates and Amazon Now is good but I can't say personally.

So if anyone finds this useful I'm glad, I was inspired to bring this out when a fellow user of these forums needed a job and seemed to respond positively to this and I thought I'd share the love. Its a job but freaking choose your own hours and there's not any real single person you have to report to check it out :-)

Creative Projects / need programmer for sim will negotiate payment
« on: May 25, 2016, 11:03:41 am »
Will negotiate payments on a per milestone basis. Yes I'm going to pay in money.

Details are a little hush but I will say that it is going to be in an Atari style does not actually need to work on an Atari simulator but that would be a nice bonus. It's going to be a simulation game and needs to keep track of certain elements.

The ethics of the project are to make a game that asks a little bit more of you as a human being, and shows you real-time consequences of your actions.

I'm rambling. Message me your credentials especially anything video game-related.

9
What kind of project is it?

Atari Style game bonus points if it actually would run on some kind of Atari simulator but that's not necessary. Need someone able do program simulations. I'd handle the art of the project.

10
I can pay Monies.

11
I have a project that needs a programmer.

I was afraid I was not doing something I needed to do. But I couldn't really think of what it was. Equally scary. And fun.

General Discussion / can't recover password

I have an alternate account called roseheart.

My email address associated with it was a paid trial and it expired. I cannot recall the password. I can definitely verify any information associated with it. I definitely want to take advantage of this user name if at all possible and I have a new Gmail account to give to it.

KAMEK: Where do we go from here? Can this place even sustain our plans? What about those left behind?

MEWTWO: Leave them if they won't come. The rule of Master Hand has ended. The reign of Mewtwo has begun!

The two figures walked up the spire. The taller figure steps towards a pulsating colorful light coming from the tallest room. So colorful it made everything behind them, before them seem dull and monochrome.

In unison the pulsating DNA sphere and the large being rose.

DO NOT POST YET

Trust in the regenerating shield to absorb all incoming fire whilst we march towards the sentinels. Ignite them with the flamethrower and then drill any that survive to melee range.

The smoldering rubble crunches under your feet as you walk to the computer and look on the screen. The 3D digital hologram lifts off the panel. This is exactly what you needed. You are going to take the opposition down piece-by-piece. Where do we go first?

A. Disable their sea vessels. Lose long-range communicator.
B. Disable their mass infantry. Lose pistol.
C. Disable their special forces. Lose flamethrower.
D. Disable their spy drones. Lose drill.
E. Disable their leadership. Lose shield and advanced targeting.
