I do find the one hour blocks more exciting, admittedly, however so more of my energy will go to players willing to test this route.

It literally already has half the spells not having anything to do with timing. Make two of them and we'll play. I'll even add 2 new stances to stretch my gameplay, possibly to something you can approve of.

Tactical Stance: battles take place on a grid attacks from behind for improved accuracy. A turn is 3 minutes and a block is 10 turns(not real time).
Dwarven Stance: same as drunken stance except a turn is 3 minutes and a block is 10 turns(not real time).

Now one hundred percent of spells can be used without a timer fancy that. Doesnt change the fact that they could be.

I'm sorry, trolling?  Since when?

I want to play, but not if it's going to require frenetic mashing of the refresh button/use of Notify/setting alarms on my phone.  I'm not that dedicated to this, as intriguing as the spell system is.

Seriously, I think you have something, but you really need to adapt your game to the forum instead of expecting the forum to adapt to your game.

Like, make blocks in terms of GM update posts, as opposed to real-time, and rejigger the timing-based stuff to have specific subblocks instead of specific times.  Because B12 doesn't do real-time, as a rule.  That's the only problem I have.

This forum is not GameFAQs, and expecting it to be GameFAQs isn't going to work.

So no, the thing isn't that I don't understand or that I don't want to play, it's that a core mechanic is just completely inaccessible.

I plan to make this game fully customizable. The defensive stances so far have been either timing based or random numbers. And I will add more. I don't think you understand that within what I'm willing to offer you will be able play any kind of game in this, that is what chrome mage is all about. It's something I've hosted before on game faqs and really if it can work there it can work here it's not such a different community and this is not my first game hosted on this forum.

...The games have ended after 0 turns and 1 turn so far.  I'm not counting the "story mode" post.

Thanks for your critique, but if you're not going to take the time to understand the game and you don't want to play, then find another bridge my trolling friend.

Okay, seriously, you cannot run a game in real time here...
The shortest a player would make a post is 3 minutes and I have them edit in any changes before an update.

You hear a howl, and as you look back the beast is leaping out of the shade into rapidly increasing view.

END OF BLOCK

Thanks for playing!

The wolf is glowing red. Then he isn't. he walks towards you and knocks you far away with a single swing. You cough up blood, and see you are now hanging off a branch high in the trees. The warewolf steps back and fades in the darkness for a moment, then you hear sounds of movement approaching.

START OF (half)BLOCK

Your spear hits the beast in the head, seeming to penetrate it, but as it fades away you see that is just how it lands, as his squinted eye is covered in dancing sparks that soon fade.

You summon 30 turrets. They do nothing. Not because the wolf is alive, which he is, but because your energy for this spell is focused on the creation of the turrets and not the letting of them fire. The spell breaks down(you must/may reactivate it)

(note, you may edit in additional uses of cooldown attacks, but they may or may not be counted.)

The werewolf just froths angrily, as if building its' rage.

a) 2/3
b) inactive

(please continue)

Your turret fails to attack the tree detecting life, at first, then aims at a few branches and eventually... knocks one down, then another. meanwhile, you have no time to think of such things as the sound has attracted...

A WEREWOLF

Choose a fighting stance:
Agile: Timing based dodges and counter attacks possible.
Drunken: Completely random defensive results.
Limber: Easy time based dodges with chance to randomly dodge aswell, no counters.

1:Shadestyle
A) Secret Wild Glorious Holy-Thunder Spear x3 3 uses per block. 3 min cooldown.
B) Worthless Loving Arcane Pacifist Turret. -x96 Constant when active.
Holy: 1(0000/1000)
Thunder: 1(0000/1000)
Arcane: 1(0000/1000)
Kills: 0

ARE YOU READY?

(This block will last 30 mins. You have 15 mins to respond.)

Shadestyle:

You are in a forest. It is night. You hear sounds and you are cold. What do you do? Note, this is storymode, no timelimit to respond.

Dude, expecting a thirty-minute turnaround is insane even if I'm playing...

Other than that:Your system is cool.  Your player count is not as cool.

My dm style was grown on the GameFAQs forums. Turn around was pretty hi there.
