We are a sword. A small sword with bronze fittings set with brilliant gems. Our blade is made from fine steel and is unadorned. We were created by an ancient and powerful smith of legend. However we were only practice to him and as soon as he was finished with us he sold us to a wandering merchant. He, however, didn’t know of the full power he had wrought. We have no name and as yet no legacy but we will. We will bring the rise and fall of kingdoms and dynasties. Soon the fate of the world will balance upon the edge of our blade. But first we must choose a suitable weilder to purchase us from this traveling peddler.

We can communicate with anyone in our immediate vicinity. However we can only communicate in vague concepts and by triggering emotions.

Aha! A new Splint fort! Wonderful.
I haven’t been active on here for awhile. I just joined the Marine Corps so most of the past few months have been spent with absolutely no technology whatsoever. Glad I could get back in time to get in on this relatively early.

I’d like to claim one of the warrior bards. Name them Jolly.

Let me start by saying that I am very new to modding, I have read a lot about it and I know how it basically works but the actual modding I've done is minimal. with that out of the way here are my questions

1
is there a mod that removes non european creatures from Dwarf fortress? fantastical creatures optional. based on a mixture of immersion and OCD I've always been slightly bothered by all of the exotic animals in Dwarf fortress. I do appreciate that random exotic creature are part of the atmosphere that make dwarf fortress so great however for my personal gameplay and for my mod I would prefer it to be more thematic. I think I would know how to do this myself, I just figured I'd ask incase it could remove some tedious work on my part.

2
are custom sites and structures a thing that you can do? if it is a thing I am sure that it would be beyond my abilities. I just figured I'd ask. If it is than something someone could start could be a data bank of custom sites and structures for other modders to use. anyone could submit one and anyone could use one. I would try to do that myself but as stated before new to modding

that's all I have. If I have anymore questions I'll post them here instead of starting a new topic.

As you get closer the goblin on foot points into the woods and says "this way" the uruk hisses "how would you know whelp"
"I know cause I know it'd be to much to cram through your thick skull anyhow" she mounts her elkbird
"This way" she rides off leaving the fuming uruk trying to come up with some biting comment. He soon gives up and he and the other goblin ride after her.

up ahead you see movement. Upon further scrutiny you spot a small group, three "people" and three mounts one uruk mounted on a warg, one goblin mounted on an elkbird and one goblin on foot holding her elkbird by the reins, she is staring intently back and forth between the ground and the trees.

Meanwhile my uruk (you learned that his name is Bagral the Beastmaster from some captured goblins) is currently riding through the woods mounted on a very large warg, he is accompanied by a mixed unit of uruks riding wargs as well as goblins atop elkbirds. He is rather Bitter about his attack failing and he is   being particularly harsh with his companions. He turns to a goblin that question him and barks "I know I said I saw it die. However some of the goblins returning from the raid said they saw it. now stop asking dumb shraking question, spread out and find it!"
half of his party departs and begins scattering through the woods. the rest turn and accompany Bagral back towards the fortress, Bagral is a warchief he doesn't have time to go tromping through the woods on some wild ghost chase he needs to be back at base figuring his next move.

*Merseth gets up from the wall he was smashed into. Wasn't hard enough to kill him.*
Merseth might have a few broken bones but he isn't dead.

I am probably not going to control the story again, I think my odd hours keep me from really being here when everyone else is ready to go, however I would like to work with other DM's via pm to keep the goblin/uruk/pachyderm alliance in play. basically if anyone wants to use it pm me and I'll give you the details of the faction

Roy alternates between blowing up the goblins and burning the elephant.
(5) Roy lays down a wave of rapid fire fireballs that are so accurate he kills most of the enemies that are currently in his vicinity. he then concentrates everything he has on the elephant cuasing it to take several steps back. The elephant is suffering severe burns from Roy's fire.
Dek takes out his gun and puts some kind of shell in it, which he shoots up into the sky. It creates a cacophany of noise, scaring the elephant.
"Now, now, NOW!"
(5) Dek fires a shot into the air that causes a loud whistling screaming sound and then explodes. This irritating sound combined with Roy's fire cause the elephant to turn and try to run.
Papyrus continues with containment tactics, harassing the goblins that made it through the breach with a near-constant shower of light bone attacks designed to corral them.
Papyrus using bone shots and barricades manages to kill or subdue most of the goblins within his sight however there are probably a few still skulking around somewhere.

after a few minutes it is clear that the enemy is retreating. the elephant plows back through the breach   crushing several uruks on its way out all of the goblins within the village are soon killed or captured and the watchtower reports that the reserve force seems to be retreating. It would appear that for the moment you have won.
End of chapter 2

*Merseth stabs the elephant in the front left leg as it charges, then moves out of the way as fast as he can!*
*Merseth finds 6 bricks from a destroyed house and throws them at the elephant!*
(1) before you can even do anything the Pachyderm smacks you with its tusks and you slam into a wall.
"THE SITUATION IS ESCALATING! I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE NEW BREACH, YOU ALL HANDLE THE ELEPHANT!"

Papyrus charges off to where the wall was breached, and begins erecting more walls of bones to contain the goblins. Once the goblins are adequately contained, he sends waves of bones through their ranks, hoping to force them to retreat.
(4) you charge back towards the other breach. Goblins are pouring in you seal the breach as soon as you can however that doesn't stop the goblins already past the wall from running rampant.
"Hehe... my work here is done."
Fbzib emits a flash of light and then teleports several feet away from the goblins. Then he quickly floats away from the battlefield. If anything gets in his way or attacks him he will attempt to teleport away.
you slink off into the wilderness feeling smug about your cleverness.
