I've gotten myself into a scenario where one of my buffaloes got stuck in a tree and started to starve. The tree was cut down, but the bull got semi-enraged by all the flying logs hitting him (without force). Nobody dares go near him (tasks interrupts), butchering him is also interrupted and I can't select him with my military squad for a kill.

How can I end him or his behavior?

Soo.. This seems like a classical question, but I can't wrap my head around it this time.
I've setup underground depots before without a hassle- now I can't.
I tried building another depot right beside my entrypoint and that one has access.
There's however a red 5x5 marking around my 3x3 downstairs staircase.
The downstairs are perfectly aligned with the upstairs below.
Underground I have have access from the depot all the way to my stairs, but not into the stairs.

What could've gone wrong?

There are no trees or boulders around the entry, or on it. I've already seen to that.

Can't find anything on this when searching.

One of my followers broke her foot.
I gave her a crutch and managed to get her to equip it. She now wields in in her hand.

However, she's still moving around on the ground, refusing to stand.
Can't followers use crutches?

I assaulted a lair where a beast who had eight wings and a pair of giant tusks lived, with my two companions.
The fighting was tense and the beast refused to die until one of my companions passed out from exertion - then the beast bled to death.
At first I thought that the beast somehow was reanimated then I realized that that wasn't the case. Another beast of the same kind had showed up. This one had a copper carving fork, which it promptly proceeded to slaughter the three of us with in an instant.

Does sheathing/unsheathing arms and shields require time? (or is it made in an instant?)
Same question for dropping/picking up items :) (not throwing)

Can weapons and armor break/get damaged? Can edged weapons go dull?

How to deal with web-spitters?
As in, when caught in a web is there something specific I can do to, like, cut myself loose?

So: What material I can acquire depends on the tile - (tile) clusters of gems can be found within (tile) layers of stone. Mining the stone tiles won't grant the gems and mining the gem tiles won't grant stones.

Hi!

I'm a bit confused by how the wiki state info about rocks.
Here's an example:
"Chromite: It is notable in that it is the sole source of valuable demantoid gemstones, as well as being a potential source of native platinum."

Does this mean that layers of chromite can contain clusters of demantoid, which I must break in order to gain demantoid gemstones or does this mean I can acquire demantoid gemstones upon breaking chromite rocks?

The game didn't react to "q" for sheath so I tested again by dropping my weapons. Tried "h" to climb at several tiles but nothing happend.
This is how it looks from where I stand. The open space is front of me is a one level drop down. To get to the surface I would have to climb one z-level up. But I think it is the game that is faulty. I've got problems with key bindings since the start. (I think I accidentally downloaded an old version of the Masterwork mod).

The .rar file says "MasterworkDF V6.2".
If I click "about" in the Masterwork main menu it says "version: 2.6.0.0".
