I dumped most if the zombies into lava after stripping them. The elves see for my pet project. I am in late summer now. I hope I can clean the place up before the traders come.used to be on 6-7fps, now on about 12. Killing the zombies and caging animals helped.
Also, there is a graphics issue with the elves. They look weird. Will try digging in the raws later. Also, I have no idea what the three microcline levers do. I also don't know which one opens the front gates. I'll just make a new one. We have a LOT of masterwork mechanisms. Weapon traps? We also have a sort of working bridge trap. You just need to seal of the other tunnels and unblock the entrance. I also suggest adding a bridge before the doors.
Dwarves load the cage traps but will not dismantle them.
